Really Gets the Job Done
This product delivered what it purported do. It is easy to use. I had over 2,000 slides to convert and I was satisfied with the results and quality of the digital images. I would recommend the purchase of the longer slide holder if you have a lot of slides. Also, I would recommend that you periodically clean the lease in Zonoz because it has a tendency to get dusty.Great unit at a great price . You can purchase this product and know that it will do what it advertises to do. I had a hard time deciding on which product to buy based on the reviews, but I'm happy that I selected the Zonoz. I did not receive any promotion from the company. I paid full price and was happy with what I bought.

Good, Easy and Economic scanner for slides
I've got this Zonoz to scan some thousands of family transparency slides, some of them having more than 50 years old. This device is a good compact surprise, it arrived before than stated and in no time I was able to start doing the work. The resolution is good, digital colors match well the film one, Even though the transparency media leaves you with a lot of post work to digitally match real life colors specially for skin tone and some very bright ekta/koda chrome colors like red and green. The scanner helps you to do a quick work on scanning and storing in the SD card, then you can edit in the PC, I haven't used the edit capabilities built in the scanner. One low feature is the format, it uses JPG as image storage default, I will prefer for this project to have PNG or RAW files to not use a info loss format from the beginning, but again, if you have a lot of pictures and want to do it fast and good ( not perfect) this is a good choice. Then you can select the very important slides and scan again with a more professional grade scanner as EPSON or other. The size is compact and easy to use, the adaptor matches well any slide thickness I've tried, but the screen should be placed at eyes level to work well, the LCD doesn't have an angle so you can't have a good view in a lower eye level, this is something to improve in the device design. The casing, buttons and controls are a little retro but works fine for me, the scan - insert -scan process for continous slides is a two button operation that could be improved as a 1 click one, but a box of 25 slides once you catch the use of the interface and the mechanics should take 5 minutes.I've uploaded some pictures, resolution and colors are good, consider these comes from a Ektachrome film taken more than 60 years ago.As conclusion is a good compact and economic scanner that should be part of your film to digital tools.

Happy husband!
My husband had several bags of slides from his mission trips in Europe and Israel from when he was younger. We wanted to have the slides transferred to photos, but weren't sure which ones to have printed. There were over 2,000 slides so the cost to send them off to another company would be astrological. I was able to transfer all of the slides to a SD card and surprise my husband for Christmas. This way he gets to pick out the slides he wants to have printed/enlarged and he also get to see all of the slides. It took several hours to upload this many slides, but it was worth it!!

I’m so glad I bought this.
This is very easy to use. I was able to transfer all my great parents pictures to a SD card. If you are thinking about buying it, you should. I’m glad I did.

Scan quality horrific. Ergonomics in work flow very bad.
I am a professional photographer. No I was not looking for high quality scans, just something quick and easy that would come out decent for the thousands of "casual" rolls of film I have stored. Most of the film is nothing important other than memories of a place or people. Was looking for something fast and easy to scan through the images. If I came across a gem, I'd do a high res scan on another device. If I found something fun to share on social media, I could just use the low res scan from this mini scanner. But the quality is so poor, I wouldn't share it with anyone. Way too much contrast, way too much noise, color is nominal once you find an okay setting for that particular roll of film. Focus is very soft.Ergonimics of the design is very poor. Unless you prop the scanner on a box in front of you on your desk, you have to tip the unit back to clearly see the screen.I knew the quality would be far less than perfect...just had no idea how far.I'm returning the scanner within a few hours of receiving it.

Great way to save old slides
We inherited a bunch of really old slides from my husband's parents after they passed. This device gave us the opportunity to save all of them to a hard drive and we can now share the images will the entire family. We are all very happy to be able to share those precious memories.

Worked great
There was a bit of a learning curve when scanning old slides: the brightness and saturation needed to be adjusted, and the defaults when the unit is turned off an on are not the best for my slides. I did figure it out after a while and got better results. I bought this used; it does randomly shut down, which is more of an inconvenience than anything, hence the four stars instead of five. Of course the setting had to adjusted again. That said, I got years of slides scanned, one at a time, within a week.
