Thorough and Highly Readable
I could not imagine a more thorough and useful reference for networks. The book is extensive in its coverage and some topics are perhaps more advanced for those of use who are simply attempting to gain an understanding of how our home network functions. I would strongly recommend the book as an excellent reference for both new and experienced network users.

The perfect book to get introduced to netwokring.
Very amazing book, with chapters in all the basics of networking, especially on WIndows. This book should be most for anybody who wants to get introduced to networking, and at least the 2 first chapters should be good for anybody who wants to know how computers work in general.

General knowledge
Most of books out of date but that’s ok because so much is still relevant. Used as reference guide more or less. If you can’t find brand new and just want to have some basics this book is very well written for just that.

Gives the basics in an easy to understand way
Highly recommend for someone who wants to brush up on high level networking concepts. Sure, its not the most in depth, but its "For Dummies"! I haven't done networking since college, so its a great refresher.

I am a beginner in the Network field and I was looking for a book that can give a 'bird eye' over the Topic and can explain in a simple way complicated technical subjects. This book delivers very well a good introduction in the Networking field and is for sure an excelent starting Point. Of course for deeper understanding, you should buy other books that are more focused in a certain chapter of this Networking All-in-One For Dummies book.
