Flourless Chocolate Torte (Certified Gluten Free)

When the cake I saw in this pix did not match what I was delivered, I was disappointed but decided to just eat the cake I was dealt and decided not to bother with the business. I wrote a brief review under a headline, ‘It looks nothing like the pix,” gave them 2 stars and was done.I would never order from them again, I thought, contemplating the discrepancy between the advertised and the real life cake. A couple of days later, as I readied to throw away the packaging, I paid attention to the invoice inside and it was addressed to a man in Florida. Hmm. I didn’t even consider the possibility of an error. I owed it to the company to notify them and I suspected there was likely a man in Florida staring at his cake and having the same thoughts.Once I contacted the company, their response was instant, they tracked down the error, apologized and sent the right cake.This one looked exactly like the pix and the taste is fabulous! I don’t like sugary foods and this cake is exactly what I hoped it would taste like.The expediency with which they solved the problem turned me from a grumpy to a happy customer and the taste of the torte made me a fan! So I am changing my review accordingly. We all make mistakes and this business won my loyalty because if it. Thank you for making it right! It was worth it to me and my family.

Bought as a Birthday(BD) surprise for a gluten free friend. She called immediately when cake was received and expressed delight of the BD thought, taste and presentation.

Delicious! They use high quality chocolate and the packaging may be excessive but it arrived refrigerated.

This cake was absolutely delicious, such rich chocolate and you can't even tell this is gluten free. I would highly recommend this cake and their pumpkin cheesecake to anyone.

I love this chocolate torte! I don't require gluten-free and don't often seek it out, but I LOVE this torte. Whenever I want a treat, this is what I buy. I just get the little one and it is rich enough that a small slice is all I need. The torte lasts an entire week.
