Q: What materials are your robots made with? PVC vinyl? I'm hoping it's non-toxic (free of Phthalates) since it's for my 6-year old.

As per US Government requirements of merchandise being sold in the US, this toy/collecible is non-toxic through normal use/play... so long as the child knows not to place the item in their mouth. Q: Are you able to take the Clear robot top off?

No, the clear top helmet is not removable.

Q: What color is it? Pics look silver but a review said turquoise.

Ours is the original silver color
