Thanks for your question. The AVR-X4700H has nine built-in powered channels. It can be configured for 7.2.2 or, using an external two channel amplifier for height 2 pre-out, configured for 7.2.4. How come i'm looking at the avr-x3800h page but there are other denon recivers reviewed here?

If i buy this now, will it have the new hdmi chip that supports video from xbox x?

To the people writing "no" ... do some research... first, this model never had the 2.1 bug and secondly with it being a 2022, it for sure doesn't. So YES it would work fine with series x.
