This product is fine it does the job.Having said that my last stylus cleaner brush was from big fudge, was of better quality and came in a set with cleaning fluid and a velvet record cleaning brush.Much better value if you need the full kit.

There's probably as many types of stylus cleaners available as styluses, from simple "sandpaper" type to ultrasonic devices. This sits somewhere nearer the lower cost end of the range, but works very effectively.It's basically a small plastic stick with a clump of bristles at one end. This "clump of bristles" seems soft enough to give confidence that you won't break the cantilever, but firm enough to shift most dust off the stylus. Adding a drop of a decent stylus cleaner fluid will help remove the final stubborn mess from the brush. If in doubt about fluids on your stylus then try distilled water, or spend longer with the brush dry, you'll eventually shift the mess. Remember to always brush from back to front of the stylus and keep the arm locked down while doing the work so as not to bounce it everywhere with the increased possibility of damage.At the price it's churlish to give it any less than 5 starts: the fact that it works so effectively means that those 5 stars are well earned.
