I have tried about half a dozen rangefinders in hopes of finding a good backup for my name brand rangefinder (rhymes with blue fleas). As it's gotten older, my name brand rangefinder has gotten a little cantankerous. I wanted a backup that is magnetic and rechargeable with a bright display that works well. I got all of those things in spades with this one. It's compact, magnetic and rechargeable (unlike the name brand) and has the brightest multi-color display I've ever seen on a rangefinder. Above all else, it spots flags better and quicker than any other rangefinder I've ever used. I used it with my name brand model for an entire round earlier this week and found that it is dead-on accurate and much easier to use. This little rangefinder was actually so good that my name brand rangefinder has now become the backup and this one is my new primary. It's really that good and has everything I was looking for in a rangefinder.

This range finder works very differently than my old one. It has a bright internal light that allows you to set a bullseye on whatever you're aiming at. I'm not yet used to this feature.It's got the features that I do want. It calculates straight line distance, calculates and adjusts distance when you encounter a slope, and also vibrates when you use it to lock in the distance to flag poles. I also like that it turns itself off within 30 seconds if it's not in use. This saves battery time.Some nice features are the range finder case, the fact that it's rechargeable, and the small size. It also comes with a string lanyard and a polishing cloth.

This toggles between meters and yards. You can switch it to display both straight line and horizontal distance, along with the angle. There's a magnet built into the side so you can slap it onto your golf cart.
