These are great! I had previously bought some similar ones that were a major, well-known brand, but these are SO much better. Unlike the name brand, these are SUPER strong!!!! I like the little tab on the backing, which makes it easy to peel off. They work exactly as described: they hold instantly, and they hold well! I made the mistake of using it on painted walls to hold up a poster board for just a minute to snap a picture. (The instructions expressly say not to use it on painted walls.) I should have paid heed, because when I removed them, they pulled on the paint and left a little bubble where the paint separated from the wall. However, they did not remove the paint, and there was no adhesive residue left at all! These can be used for all sorts of things, and I can’t get over how strong they are!

When I think adhesive products, and in particular double-sided wall mounting adhesive products, I think 3M. The issue is that 3M products per unit price is quite high, and based upon my experience doesn't justify the price difference. There are some downsides to these dots, as noted by other reviewers, but then checking the reviews of the 3M adhesive dots you see similar comments. For me the cost is a big selling point.The other thing to note, besides what has been said in other reviews, is site prep. Some surfaces don't work with these, and some surfaces need to be prepped. Keep the surface dry, if possible, and wipe with a microfiber cloth. If the surface needs liquid to be made clean then be sure to allow for enough time for it to dry thoroughly before adhesive application.In my case I wiped down my painted Do-Not-Touch wall, and used these to keep a baby picture in place. Time will tell if these work well, or not.

They were easy to remove from the large sheet without gumming up and becoming and a ball (I've had that problem with some smaller glue dots).The only problem I had was in removing the top paper to expose the other sticky surface. I should have used tweezers! After having those little paper tabs stab me under the fingernail over and over again, it was really painful!

I'm using these adhesive dots to hold up small puck lights (~1lb), attached to the underside of a surface. Typically this would be the worst case scenario since it is a full downward pull all the time, but after more than a month there has been no issues. I've had to reposition one of the lights and had to pull slowly to avoid breaking the plastic housing of the puck light., so these stickers still had plenty of holding strength left.There is a distinct chemical smell associated with the adhesive dots, but I had to get fairly close to them to notice it. Mine also arrived on a waxy backing sheet so no problems with removal and affixing them to my item.

I used these on suction cups which doesn't stick well anymore on our bathroom tiles. I put 2 dots on each sction cup so it will provide enough surface to stick to the textured tiles. It was a bit tricky to peel the backing white sheet off.So far so good, and if it stops working it's easy to replace and re-do or go use something else. I like these are not permanent so it won't damage the surface easily -I'm guessing if it stays for years on a dry wall it could take the paint off of the wall-.

These mounting dots may be okay for something like posters, but not for sticking things like photo frames or dry erase boards to walls. My board is pretty small and it fell off my wall the first night. I used several dots.Depending on what you need this for you might want to try a heavier mounting tape.Also, it was a bit complicated getting the white paper off of the sticky side.

Very sticky. The white, waxy covering is a bit hard to peel back at times. Not a big issue. I just wanted them to stick. And boy did they! I've had my movie night decorations up 3 weeks and not one thing has fallen off my walls, blinds, doors!I had 2 back to back Saturday movie nights, had a third planned out but a hurricane got in the way. I have one more movie night planned for the following week and I'm curious to see if they remove easily... I'll be back to update..Buy so far,, I'm loving the product and I'm loving the price!!

These sticky dots work well, but are also easy to remove if placed on smooth surfaces. I am mainly using them to attach scout badges to ribbon to award them to individual scouts. They are perfect or this, but also can be used with crafts and many other things!
