It's too early for me to talk about its durability, but the installation process and the UI of the app got me. The app lets you pick the room the power strip is in for easier categorization, and label the plugs so you don't make the mistake i made. Looking forward to use it with alexa once my echo arrives.

I bought this 9 months ago and it worked as intended. I use mine in the living room to control the lights and the recliner. I have been happy with my purchase, so I decided to order another for the bedroom. The second strip refused to connect at all. No matter what I did.Bear in mind that I ALREADY OWN ONE THAT IS PRESENTLY CONNECTED TO THE SAME ROUTER that's been here for over a year. I wasted half an hour tonight getting this to connect. I chose AP mode after it wouldn't detect automatically, and the Wi-Fi Hotspot named "Smart********" never came up to connect to.If you can't produce devices that work consistently, you do not deserve more than one star because customers deserve better than a hit-and-miss experience. Returning this.

I bought this back in October 2018, but it sat forgotten on a shelf until about 2 months ago. A recently bought a new TV, so in the process of setting it up, I decided to use the power strip for my TV, soundbar, firetv, and cable box. I connected the power strip to my Wi-Fi and Alexa with no problems. Everything seemed to be going well. But then, about 4 weeks later, it just died. I do not believe it was due to a power surge because it was plugged into a surge suppressor which was plugged into a uninterruptible power supply, and nothing else in the house was affected either. It just died.

It will be harder to decide and find names that Google or Alexa will not have trouble with than it will be to set it up. Works like a charm. We can be lazy and tell Alexa to turn on the fan without having to get up and do it ourselves. Google has a bit more trouble with the individual outlets than Alexa, not sure if it's the device or Google. Since we have both, it's turned out to not be a problem.

It connected easy enough to the Smart Home App & the Alexa. Was able to use it through Alexa or on my phone when I was away to turn lights on/off or even schedule them. After about 10 months of working, it just stopped. Won’t come on at all. It should last longer than that.

This worked well at first even though it's yet one more app that has to be downloaded and set up. I don't seem to be able to find a web presence for this company either. I like the idea of a smart plug outlet strip but this company's quality will make me not ever use another one of their products

Woke up this morning and the power strip is dead. No storms or power surges. It just isn't working! I would hope a power strip would last longer than 5 months. Tried plugging it in another outlet and still not working.Come to find out, my charger for my MacBook air went bad and that was the cause. Did not realize that until we plugged it into a new power strip. The power strip had always worked fine before the charger had gone bad.

First time i bought the smart power plug and could not be happier. The set up was extremely easy. I used this in my livingroom to power up my table light. I can turn the light on when it get dark and from the distance of my home. With this i feel i have control over my house eventhough i am not home. Thank you
