pump still working over two years!
Love increased waterfall, prior pump had smaller diameter hose, no wonder flow was less. This pump came with several adapters and I do have extra hoses of different sizes, nothing additional to purchase. I made my own small pool and cracked concrete curbing for raised water feature. I love the water sound on lowest setting, unit is quiet!! I have to add water every two days due to evaporation here in So CA. This pump was expensive for me, I hope to attach a timer soon, hate to run for 24 hrs a day. Larger leaves still falling into pool, not plugging up filter at this time. Very nice product.EDIT: pretty nice, I paid $57.00 03/2020 and now is $61.00 04/2022. Still works well. Only drawback is fiber in chamber is wearing smaller. I have to find a scrubbie size filter to make this up to par. I only have large leaves fall- winter. I use kitchen colander to sweep out leaves and bark. For me, a great product!

Quite and Powerful
Active Aqua Submersible Water Pump, 800 GPH, for my cold plunge tub, and it works perfectly. It efficiently circulates the water, maintaining a consistent temperature, and operates almost silently, which is a huge plus.Installation was easy, and the pump feels solid and reliable. The compact design fits well in my setup without taking up much space.Overall, I highly recommend this pump for anyone with a cold plunge tub. It’s quiet, powerful, and does the job excellently.

Great submersible pump for aquaponics and hydroponics
Great little pump. Works well in my small aquaponics system. Just remove the filter to maintain flow and chop up fish waste for mineralization in media beds. This pump was "overkill" for my original project, but it ended up working out well as my system expanded. Since installing it in my aquaponics system, it has also been used in a hydroponic reservoir to deliver water to NFT channels and a Dutch "Bato" bucket system. This pump is coming up on a year of almost continuous use and is still pumping away. I will be buying a second one soon for a separate project. Be sure to measure your head hight and cross check the efficency on this pump with how much water you want to move at that measured height.Pros: curve chart (head and GPH) is accurateLong life with continuous usepretty quiet for its sizepowerful and great for the priceCons: cant think of any

It won’t start on its own
Every time I shut it down to replace an external filter for my pond it will not restart. I have to open up the suction side and flip the impeller with my finger to start it. Then I have to reattach the front piece while it is running and put it back in the pond. It runs fine until the next filter replacement.

1100 GPH - Why 5/8” Outlet?
For the short time that I've used this pump, it was amazing! The power of this puppy was well worth the money, and the materials seem quality. I was able to drain a 55-gallon container and pump the water up 6ft with LOTS of pressure in like 5-minutes. A+ suction power. The only issue I had, which is why I deducted the star, was the company’s dumb choice to add a 5/8” outlet. That is such a random size and it limits PVC applications. I bought this used a couple of years ago for a project that never really happened. I was a total novice to pumps and had no clue what I needed or about fitting sizes. While working on another project recently, I remembered that I had this pump and tried to work it into the project. However, because of the ridiculous 5/8” outlet fitting, hard plumbing this pump with PVC was impossible and soft vinyl tubing was unstable in my configuration under the water pressure from the pump. For this reason, I had to buy a completely different pump for my project instead of upcycling my old junk. It feel so wrong and wasteful , but it had to be done to get my DIY project completed.

Great Pump
I purchased this in 2017 for my saltwater mixing brute container. 3 years ago when I moved I ended up running it continuously for 3 years without issue on my 110gallon holding system. Last week I finally got to cleaning it and there was minimum gunk on the impeller! Which is insane considering all my other pumps have the same amount of gunk after 6 months. My only issue is I could never size the outlet correctly and now that I want to use it again I can not find the pieces I got with it. I want to hard plumb it but years ago when I took the fittings to the hardware store nothing worked since its metric size so I settled on using the smallest fitting provided and probably sacrificed 60% of the flow going into my mixing vat and my temporary holding tank, which is a waste of electricity.Does this company know what the size is of the female thread? This way I can order the part and plumb it to a 1" US PVC fitting.?

A Little Tweaking BAM!
The media could not be loaded. This brand has a good name so I gave it a chance, sad that I was let down. I bought 3 160gph systems, I've tried all three on a double stacked 7 gallon tote hydroponics system. I first thought maybe I didn't clean out everything so might be clogged, took it all apart and detailed it. Still the same results but I will try one more move and return the pumps for a bigger gph to see if its that or the pumps just not up to par as the name. I will update this review following the test of different gph size pump.*UPDATE*So, did some tweaking on the hydroponic system, used some plumbers tape and bam its working. Found out it wasn't particularly the pump itself but the fittings where not closed off enough. I used plumbers tape and sealed off the open connection and the pressure just kicked in and all sprayers are working. I highly recommend buying these pumps!
