Platonic Solids in Polished Hardwood

This beautiful set of the 5 Platonic solids is hand-crafted in Virginia from local hardwood. Each piece is between 2.5 and 3.5 inches in diameter (6 to 9 centimeters). The pieces have been carefully precision cut and sanded, then stained and sealed, and finally buffed with a three-part process ending with a hard carnauba wax coating. This gives a durable finish with a satin sheen that holds up well to handling, making these ideal for the classroom as well as for display.
