Our jeans are partially lined with 100% genuine 280gsm DuPont Kevlar fibre - DuPont and KEVLAR are trademark or Registered trademark of E.I. DuPont de Nemours and Company. They look & feel like normal jeans, but are high quality heavy duty stitched denim that is weight stretched for extra durability, it is a soft non-abrasive material designed to dissipate heat, its cut resistant (used in bulletproof vests) yet it allows the air to flow freely through the fibers. The jeans are heavy duty double stitched in the inner seam of the jeans to ensure the protective lining will not move out of position. BEWARE: Of sellers using little or no protective lining, they may seem thick however it is extremely important to use a high quality aramid lining, and one that is not mixed with other materials.

Does the job but not perfect
I chose these over others because of the increased area of Kevlar. Cant really review that as ive stayed shiny side up so far.Regards to fitting the waist is a normal size but the width of the legs are very narrow. Ive worn a 36” waist since i was about 14. I initially ordered 36” and couldn’t get my legs in and had to send them back. Its like wearing a pair of jogging bottoms underneath jeans. Probably due to the kevlar lining. Now with a pair of 38” the legs fit fine however the waist is massive on me. I have to wear a belt and pull it really tight which crumples the top and they still want to fall down. This wouldn't be too bad if i could pull them up. However they are cut very high in the crotch. Not good for me as i find they crush my nuts. Its a choice between crushed nuts or sagging off the back of my back side. When on the bike i pretty much forget about them. The armour feels strong enough although it only really covers knee caps and no protection on the sides but i think this is the same with all jeans. They have a tendency to shift sideways slightly which is a bit worrying if they are not where they need to be if i come off

Excellent value motorcycling jean.
Excellent value motorcycling jean. Seem nicely made... pretty comfortable (don't immediately feel heavyweight)... supplied hip and knee armour seem up to the job on spec at least... and on the whole, do look as though they'd save your hide in a slide. Fade resistant in first few washes so 'thumbs up' there too. Ordered a waist size up from my regular trouser/jean size but they fit perfectly so might be worth following. They've come up a little longer than I was expecting but on the bike, they're spot on and don't play havoc with your Y-fronts or snagging your testicular fleece. On a similar note, can be tricky to go 'sit down loo' in as the hip armour hits the knee armour which restricts pull down distance (no one ever tells you these things!). Other than that, recommended.

Good fit and value
I'm 6'3" tall and 230lb weight with a well fed body. Most trousers tend to be a poor fit. However, these have fitted well and are comfortable on the bike. The wider lower leg will fit inside a full boot, or over a short ankle boot with enough length to protect my ankles. Body armour will fit for hips and knees, but I've not used it yet.A small stud did fall off but I have spares. Good value.

Rubbish
Had these jeans for about a month now. Initially I thought that were really good but only a few weeks in the inside hip armour pockets are now useless as they’re ripping and the Velcro is coming away. Can’t recommend these at all.

Turin DuPont Kevlar Motorbike jeans
Had to return them for a full refund unfortunately as they just didn’t fit. Whilst the waist size was ok, the legs were too narrow. It’s a shame as they were excellent quality as I purchased some Draggin Jeans from Australia many years ago and they are expensive and these were actually better as had more kevlar. I do have chunky legs as I do a lot of exercise so I would still recommend them if you have skinny legs. The suppliers were excellent and provided a full refund with no issues at all.

WELL MADE& GOOD VALUE.
WELL MADE FROM GOOD QUALITY DENIM.I ACTUALLY BOUGHT THE SAME SIZE AS I WOULD FOR PLAIN JEANS AND FOUND THEY FIT FINE ALTHOUGH THE SEEM CUT A BIT SHALLOW FROM CROTCH TO HIP HEIGHT SO WHILST A SLIGHTLY TIGHTER BELT IS WORKING FOR NOW A PAIR OF MOTORCYCLE BRACES WOULD PROBABLY WORK BETTER.I'VE JUST WORN THEM ON A 70 MILE ROUND TRIP,THE FIRST HALF OF WHICH TURNED INTO A DOWNPOUR BUT ONCE THE SUN CAME OUT THEY DRIED VERY QUICKLY AND I KEPT REASONABLY WARM WHICH IS NOT MY EXPERIENCE WITH CONVENTIONAL JEANS-SO MAYBE A LITTLE ADDED BONUS VIA THE KEVLAR.I KNOW FROM USING THIS MATERIAL AT WORK IN PLACE OF METAL BASED CHAINS IT'S AS TOUGH AS CLAIMED BUT HAV'N'T SLID UP THE ROAD ON MY BACKSIDE(I ASSUME A**E WILL BE DELETED) TO TEST IT IN A PAIR OF JEANS BUT IF AND WHEN I DO I'LL REPORT BACK.

Stylish, comfortable and life-saving!
Good looking jeans when you're out and about, don't feel much heavier then normal apparel although obviously with the knee and hip pads your movement is restricted a touch but in no way uncomfortable. Might need to invest in a pair of long johns if riding in colder weather though! And of course the big test came for me this weekend - hit some unexpected gravel on the road at 40mph and went into a slide. The jeans survived with barely a scratch, with myself only having a minor graze where I landed. If only I could buy my poor bike a pair!

Ok for long legs
I have given 4 stars as on the bike they are comfy and seem to have all the protection in the right places. They drop a star for me because when I walk in them they slip down, even though I tighten my belt, leaving the knee pads as shin pads and 2+ inches of legs dragging on the floor. Have bought correct size (36W 32L) and they fit well enough when pulled up to my navel. Plenty of leg length as the previous reviews suggest. I guess my legs may have shrunk in my old age! Good value for the money, other brands are far more expensive so on the whole I can recommend them for riding. Where's my old braces gone?
