Gentle but effective powerhouse
I’ve been using this for a few weeks and it’s one of the gentlest treatments I’ve tried for redness and breakouts. It didn’t irritate my skin at all — especially compared to salicylic acid.Azelaic acid helps with acne, redness, dark spots, and uneven skin tone. It’s also anti-inflammatory and antibacterial, which makes it perfect for sensitive, blemish-prone skin.Ingredients Breakdown (Key Highlights):• Azelaic Acid (10%) – Main active; targets blemishes, dullness, and uneven tone• Dimethicone – A skin-smoothing silicone that gives a silky finish and reduces irritation• Tocopherol (Vitamin E) – Antioxidant protection to help support skin barrier function• Polysilicone-11 & Isodecyl Neopentanoate – Help with texture and spreadability✔️ Pros:• No irritation or stinging• Helps with redness and texture• Layers well under moisturizer• Fragrance-free & affordable⚠️ Cons:• Thick, silicone-like texture (not everyone will love it)• May pill if not applied to clean, dry skinOverall, this is a great choice if you want results without harsh side effects. Just remember to only use it 2-3x week max if your skin gets irritated easily, and do a patch test first! Also, it is thick as seen in the photo, so a little goes a long way.

The Ordinary – Anti-Acne Cream for Daily Use
I've been using this cream every day and I couldn't be happier with the results. Its light texture absorbs quickly, leaves no greasy feeling and is perfect to apply before makeup or alone. From the first week I noticed fewer pimples, less redness and my skin much softer. What I like the most is that, despite being effective against acne, it does not dry or irritate. Keeps the skin hydrated while helping to control excess oil and prevent new outbreaks. In addition, with a very small amount it is enough, so it lasts a long time.It is simple, effective and at an affordable price, faithful to the style of The Ordinary. If you are looking for a daily cream that takes care of your skin and fights acne gently but constantly, this is an excellent option.

So far so good!
Leaves a nice smooth feeling. Fresh scented. Seems like good skin care at this time to increase brightness. Lightweight layer that doesn’t leave residue at all. Absorbs easily into skin. Thick consistency on squeeze into palm, but very easy and smooth to apply. Doesn’t feel thick upon application. I apply this before my vitamin c drops, acne cream, and Cerave daily lotion. I find the combo takes away a bit of the redness on my face and leaves it looking dewy!

Safe skin smoother
Excellent product. I use just a tiny bit a couple times a week. Skin feels much smoother. The serum is thick and a little tacky feeling but it goes on clean and rubs in easily. It is definitely worth adding to your regimen. I am breastfeeding so I can’t use a lot of products but this was safe for pregnancy and nursing.

Five-Star Product - One-Star Packaging
"This is a fantastic product and I've already seen improvement after only two days. The formula itself is worth 5 stars, and I love the results. My only major disappointment is that the tube, which is already small, was only filled halfway. This is something the company should address.

Velvety Skin, Lab Smell Included
Does it work? Seems like it. Skin’s looking calmer, a little brighter, better hydration, fewer random rage bumps popping up. But honestly? I keep reaching for it because of the matte finish — like a velvety skincare primer in disguise. Perfect for under makeup or pretending you have your life together. Now let’s talk about the smell. It’s not fragranced, but it’s also not… pleasant. It’s giving “clinical cream meets forgotten lunchbox.” Not unbearable, just weird. Like maybe someone should’ve added a little citrus or something to distract from the chemistry experiment.Still, it earns a spot in the routine. Even if my nose objects a little.
