The item arrived as expected. Well packaged and the instructions are very clear. It just a well thought out item. some complain about the 1 optional divider, it installs as expected and works well if you need it. the command strip mounting adhesives are fine for my use. if in a different installation i would use the screws, simply my preference. The adhesive strips work just fine. the item is sized right. i had purchased the 4 or 5 size as like many i have all kinds of remotes and a great place to keep a pen and small flashlight at the bedside. GOOD JOB

I found a great little side table for my couch. I wanted it for kleenex and coffee, but it wound up housing remotes. So, I found this and it works perfectly! It comes with 4 big Command strips. All you have to do is apply the strips to the plastic remote holder and adhere to your clean surface. Press in place and leave EMPTY and set a one-hour timer. That way it bonds securely to the surface. Voila! Perfect little remote caddy. I didn’t put the dividers in so I could fit all 4 remotes side-by-side. Since it uses Command strips, which I can get more when needed, I can pull those down to remove from that table and relocate when needed. It’s the perfect solution!! Great value for the money. Great storage. Great size. And well made!

I ordered one of these a few years ago and attached it to the side of my bedside cabinet. Holds 3 remotes very nicely with the 3 slots formed using the dividers enclosed. But things proliferated and so ordered a second one and just installed it now. Same place, right next to original one. Going to keep additional items in it to try and declutter the top of my night table.They work really well. First one has not wiggled or come detached at all. I can easily access any remote and keeps them from getting lost. Highly functional item. Easy to attach using the Command Strips enclosed. Recommend.

Pros:-Helps organize the many remotes that were never where I needed them.-Nice fit and finish with 2 dividers included for the 3 remote version (see below)-3M Command Strips (4 for 3 remote version) included which work well on smooth surfaces like a bedside table. There are also 3 screw holes and 3 screws included if you want a more permanent install.-Dust holes in the bottomCons:-There are no instructions and you probably wouldn't need them if it weren't for the small plastic dividers. At first I thought these were for smoothing out the adhesive since they were curved on one side. However, they fit into groves on the inside of the remote holder. Don't throw them out. I read a few reviews that complained that remotes fall over. Well, I guess they would if the dividers aren't installed.-Fingerprint magnet. Not much of an issue if you just put the remotes in and take them out. However the gloss plastic finish shows every fingerprint.-It's not deep enough for all remotes. Yes it will fit a Roku, Apple TV, Google 4K TV or thin remotes for LED strip lights. However, it won't fit remotes that are thicker than 1.5". For example, it will not fit a TiVo remote.-Pretty expensive for what it is: a couple pieces of plastic.-The bottom isn't flat with the dust holes and overall configuration. If the dividers aren't installed, the remotes tend to fall over. Even with them installed, they may lean against the divider.Overall if cost isn't a deal-breaker, it works and achieves the objective of adding a bit of organization to the pile of remotes that most have all over the place. It would have been better if it was made about a 1/4" deeper to accommodate slightly thicker remotes like the TiVo.

As the title says, I am a repeat customer. This is my second time to buy this exact same product from TotalMount, and I did that for one reason: because the first one is still fantastic. I have had the original for a few years now and it is still going strong, so strong that I felt a second TotalMount unit was in order.I mounted my original TotalMount with screws to a relatively thin piece of plywood, not flat mind you, I mounted it on the “edge” of the plywood sheet! The plywood is the “smooth surface”on one of the four levels of the wire structure I use as a “nightstand.” This plywood surface protrudes out from the wire shelf a few inches so the only support behind the TotalMount is where the two small screws attach to the 1/2 inch thick piece of plywood. The rest of the mount is just hanging there in the air!Now I know that this NOT how the unit was designed to be mounted. I am using it completely, “Off Label.” The manufacturer would NEVER recommend that their product be installed this way, but I did it anyway.I did not REALLY expect for that thing to last a month, but those folks at TotalMount fooled me! Heck, they flat out have stunned me! That mount has been hit, pushed, fully leaned on and pulled by snagged sheet, blankets and bedspreads, for YEARS and IT IS STILL HANGING IN THERE!!! Every time I really notice it, I say to myself, “Damn, I cannot believe that thing is still there! Quietly doing its job, day after day!” It has been overloaded with too many remotes since day one and I am finally doing the right thing by getting the original one a mate.No foolin’, all kidding aside, this is really a great product and a great company. The outside packaging is modern, stylish, very colorful, solid, very sturdy and quite secure. The instruction booklet has text large enough to read, full of useful diagrams, is WRITTEN IN ENGLISH, and completely thorough. Everything about this product just screams, “Five Stars!” And, it truly is a Five Star product, take my word for it. This product is truly a great one.Don’t waste your time or your money on cheap imitations: get the real thing; get a TotalMount!

It works great for my needs. The tape is strong and it holds several remote controls and some reading glasses. Going to purchase more!!!

I needed something for four bedside remotes. And it sits behind the drapes so it’s not visible. Good solution and easy install.

Use on headboard to avoid losing remotes and one in the living room. Nice and sleek!
