The marker's handy, but smudges easy if you're not careful. One quirk - the money slot's a tight fit for folded bills. And heads up, the acrylic front scratches pretty easy. Overall, it's been a fun way to get the kiddo excited about saving. If you're looking for a visual piggy bank that's more than just a coin slot, could be worth a shot. Just don't expect bank-vault quality. It's definitely sparked some good money talks in our house, so that's a win in my book. I bought each of my kids one of these. And the concept is great--and it comes with three different plates for the kids to choose a goal of how much they want to save. But my sons fell of his night stand and onto his bedroom carpet and the upper corner broke into segmented pieces. My daughters also shows stress in the upper corners which we decided to add tape on the inside to give it better stability.

Love this visual idea of saving spare change and money together as a family. It allows my kids to check off the boxes and helps them to become a part of the process for saving money to take our next family vacation.

Broke after 1 month, unfortunately material is cheap. My son was very disappointed.
