Q: Can this work on other 20v MAX brands like Dewalt? I know B&D 20v MAX is same as Craftsmen 20v Max. I thought this may work with others too.

I am not sure, I was at home depot today, the batteries are the same size, and the terminal connections look similar, But my porter cable 20 v max tools have 3 terminals in them (love em). I saw the black and Decker 20 v max with 4 terminals. Maybe it is their way of sure you buy their brand. No one I work with has any li-ion anything, let alone this line of tools. I have read that dewalt and porter cable are the same now internally, just different appearances and ergonomics.

I'm going to guess the 20V lithium battery will probably not work with your 18V lithium tool(s), but I don't know for sure. You could call Black & Decker customer service (1-800-544-6986) and ask them. Also, there are "aftermarket" replacement 18V lithium batteries on Amazon that are supposed to be able to replace the B&D LB018-OPE battery. You could find one of those listings and read the reviews, ask the Amazon community if those batteries are a good replacement for the original B&D batteries. I hope this helps.
