The PMI-ACP Exam: How To Pass On Your First Try, Iteration 3 (Test Prep series)

Passed on the first try (hence title of the book)
Please Note Prior to reading this book I had just recently been certified as a SAFe Scrum Master about 2 months prior and currently work as a Scrum Master. So leveraging my prior knowledge and experience, this was the only book I used to study for the PMI ACP exam and was able to actually pass the exam on the first attempt and get above target. The book gives you exactly what you need to pass the exam. It dives into each domain that is present on the exam and gives a brief yet thorough explanation to help the reader understand what they need to know. It’s not a very dense book and pretty easy to read.I would highly recommend taking both of the exams at the end of the book, and really understanding what you may have gotten wrong. The book does a great job giving an explanation to each of the answers. If you buy this book new it’ll give you a one week free trial to try the online practice exam via velociteach. I would highly recommend taking that practice exam to as I found that exam to be close to what I experienced during my own exam. Ultimately I’ll most likely use this company’s texts to help me prepare for the PMP in future. That’s how much I really trust, enjoy and understand the way they present their material.

Passed the first time
This is the only book I used to study for the PMI-ACP exam. I have read this book and thoroughly studied the glossary. I did not learn much from the book because I already knew Agile from my job. With that said, the terms in the glossary are very good. It is very important to know the correct definitions of the terms that are used on the test. If you know the terms and know how to apply them, then you should be able to do well on the exam.I have used this author's PMP book for the PMP exam, which helped very much.

Very Good Book. (Definitely not a standalone prep source)
I wasn't new to Andy Crowe having studied for PMP via his "Passing the PMP" book which I believe is still the gold standard. But when it came to his PMI-ACP, maybe its because the nature of the material does not lend itself to a structured way of learning as is the case with PMP, I found the content of this book more like a cliff notes guide to the exam. But it sure does lend itself to bringing to light agile concepts and principles in this author's ever so succinct and to the point manner, which was definitely helpful. The treasure chest of this book are the mock exams, by far the most grueling set of prep questions which definitely gives us a "Go/NoGo" on our ability to pass the actual exam.

Packages to Puerto Rico are taking far too much time to arrive.
Even though it took forever to arrive the condition of the book is great and I am happy.

Good, but not as good as the PMP book from same author
I really liked the PMP prep book from Andy Crowe and expected similar quality here. The book is okay, but it its 336 pages actually come down to 140 (or so) when you substract the test, glossary, general tips for the test, etc...Also, it is not as structured as the PMP book, probably due to the topic (but maybe Andy could find a better way to tie it all together ?).Altogether, okay to study, but you need additional material to prepare for the exam.

Great study guide that can push you over the final hump and tie things together.
I used three books to study for the PMI-ACP exam and each provided a different perspective on the topics. This one was very to the point and got me over the line to get a passing grade on the exam! So glad I purchased it.

Andy has consolidated that information into an easy to read guide
Earlier this year, I passed the PMI-ACP exam. I relied heavily on Andy's book as my sole study guide. PMI wants you to read over a dozen books to prepare for the exam. Andy has consolidated that information into an easy to read guide. The questions are also great!

Not enough Materials to prepare you for the exam
I just passed the PMI-ACP Exam in May 2019. This book will NOT prepare you for the exam. 1) Not enough materials. 2) Too simple and not enough details. Only 160 pages of the book are training materials. The rest of the book is about how to prepare the exam and how to write the exam which you can get it from Internet or if you wrote similar exams before, you know it. Try PMI-ACP Exam Prep Paperback by Mike Griffiths instead. All PMI-ACP exam question are scenario based. No calculation. No definition question. Make sure you do as much as practice/mock exams as possible but make sure they are scenario based exam questions not definition.

Perfekte PMI-ACP Vorbereitung
Steht alles drin was man zum Bestehen braucht.

Excellent book, not found elsewhere
Great book, contains essential stuff to pass the exam. I am grateful to the vendor Western, for shipping it much early even by beating the shipping deadlines from the US. Invest and score in the exam with this book.

Easy Read
Good and easy read. Does not waste type ‘lecturing’ that much. Focuses on perspectives (last chapter dedicated to it) which anyone who attended a PMI exam knows is the most important thing to get right.Very good book for certification but not to learn the concepts which are better served with topic specific books. Used This book as the last thing to review before the exam, helped a lot.

High level info only
It's very high level and does not go into details of curriculum of pmi acp.. only one chapter was usefull in the entire book.. chapter 10 how to pass exam..It's poorly put together.. one will find much detailed information on blogs and small articles.. coming on to specific things..The author put pillars of scrum as visibility inspection and adaptation when it has to be transparency instead of visibility..
