Don’t purchase.
Don’t buy this cheap ass knockoff. You’ll end up stripping the notched on your filter. If this happens (speaking from Experience) don’t panic. Go to your local autozone or whatever car parts store you have and purchase their cheap $5 oil filter strap wrench. It’s small enough to fit in the area that surrounds the oil filter. Once you get it off, put the K/N filter with the 5:8’s nut on the end of the filter. This way you never have to deal with this again.

Broken on the second filter
Literally on the second filter I used this wrench on and one of the two cheesy pinch welds, that hold the 3/8 adapter washer to the filter afapter, broke free. I had read this on other reviews too. Its either scrap or ill have to put some welds on it... havnt decided yet. But if you dont have a welder to add what is lacking, then don’t bother with this filter wrench

If Looking For Something That Doesn't Work, Look No Further
What an absolute waste of my hard earned $. I'm the one who put my last filter on, so I know it wasn't over-tightened...1/2 turn past hand tight. I've been doing my own oil changes for 30+ years. This thing just slips off the filter and doesn't generate enough torque to remove anything . I'm 4 days past the return window so am hosed. I recommend taking a pass on this one.

cheap welds
Broke after 2 uses. What a waste. The cup has just 2 little spot welds to the center piece that you connect your 3/8 drive ratchet to. The welds broke removing the filter. I had to destroy the filter to remove it so I could finish the oil and filter change on my bike. No, I'm not new to using tools. I used to own my own motorcycle repair shop, lost some tools in my house move, so I bought this one as a replacement. I got so mad, I thru both pieces out in the trash.

DO T WASTE YOUR MONEY.
DO NOT BUY THIS HORRIBLY MADE CHINESE KNOCK OFF. I HAD TO GRIND THE LIP DOWN TOGET IT PAST THE MOUNT THEN IT SLIPS ON THE FILTER AND I HAD TO REMOVE MY FILTER WITH A PIPE WRENCH. WENT TO HARLEY AND GOT TJE RIGHT ONE. WHAT A PIECE OF CRAP.

Great starting point
After reading the reviews and knowing that my filter was on "super tight" I knew that this wrench would slip. However, after further reading the reviews, I saw where someone drilled holes in this wrench and used self-tapping screws to harness the oil filter. It worked like a charm. Now that I'm doing the oil changes, I don't expect to need the screws.

Low quality
Oil filter wrench works but it is made of soft metal so do NOT use a wobble extension in this tool. The part of the tool that an extension goes in is very thin and the wobble extension will rotate in it causing the extension to get stuck. We will see how in performs the next time I use it with a regular extension.

Cheaply made
My filter may have been a little tight but the 3/8” drive portion IMMEDIATELY stripped out and rendered the tool useless while my bike was on a lift with no oil in it. Had to source one elsewhere in the middle of the job. Sent it back. Only gave 1 Star because zero wasn’t offered.
