My mum is quitting smoking after 55 years, and anything I can do to help, I will. I'm super proud of her.She says these patches are BETTER than the ones I've been getting at CVS, Walmart, or Target!I don't have money to throw away, so whenever I can get a generic version I'll go with that, as long as the active ingredients are the same. I was concerned that I couldn't actually find any listed ingredients anywhere on this product, on the listing or the box! I took a chance because the price of these is 50%+ less than the store brand anywhere else. When I opened it up, it finally listed the ingredients (nicotine being the one I was looking for) on the individual packets. I've never looked at the full ingredient list (still, actually) on the generic (or name brand) ones from the brick-and-mortar stores, but this one said it also has menthol and clove (amongst other things) in it! That's cool. My mum doesn't smoke menthol or clove cigarettes, and these are topical patches, not anything edible, but whatever helps! Weird, but OK. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

My mother in law has been trying to quit smoking for the past 2 years and have been quite unsuccessful, as she always ends up picking up a cigarette after about 2-3 weeks of quitting. We've tried multiple patches, but she ends up always sneaking in a cigarette or two during the process, which caused the patches to not be effective. This patch was different, after she applied them, she no longer had the urge to sneak a smoke in while it was applied. A negative (quite large) is the adhesive is not very strong, the current summer heat is not very helpful, but the patches tend to peel at the slightest notion of sweat presence. It'll definitely also peel when in the shower as well, our suggestion is to shower/bathe, then when your skin is dry, apply the patch and keep the area as dry as possible until your next shower (we found my mother in law did not need the patch for 24 hours after the first week and that 16-18 hours was enough for her). My Mother in law has not had the urge to smoke and it has been 2 months after she finished a box of Step 3 patches.

This box of smoking cessation aid patches includes complete steps from 1 to 3 to help you to quit. Step 3 consists of 7mg of nicotine, 14mg for step 2, and lastly 21mg for step 1. The manual recommends the user to start from step 1 ONLY if they are heavy chain smokers. For all others, start from step 2 (14mg) and wean off of nicotine use by ending with step 3 (7mg). It's recommended to spend 1-2 weeks for steps 2 & 3 whereas the recommendation extends this to 2-4 weeks for Step 1. The patches are easily applied on the skin but it's a bit hard to get it off the non-stick packaging in the beginning.Onto my experience, It does help with cravings and other unpleasant withdrawal symptoms to say that it works for me. I don't become restless or cranky as much albeit it doesn't help with my daily oral fix at the end of the day. I'm not sure if I'll manage to quit but I'm not so sure if I want to and that's probably the most important aspect in quitting.To close, I deducted 2 stars as the adhesive literally doesn't hold water. I applied this on my arm, specifically my deltoids. But it started to peel at the slightest notion of sweat and completely detached itself from my arm thereafter. Due to the heat, my arms were slightly sticky but nowhere near the point where it'd appear remotely as sweat. Quite disappointing to say the least because the medical tape that I use to cover my mouth for anti-snoring doesn't suffer from that issue. 3 out of 5 stars, the performance is there if it manages to stay on for that long.

It did help for quite a while to keep the cravings at bay. I think if it's used as directed, it could really make the difference to finally quit.

My husband is slowly but surely working on quitting smoking since the birth of our son. With all the added stress in our lives it hasn’t been an easy task so we got these patches to help move things along. He’s been using them off and on now for almost a month but only on his most difficult work days. He’s tried other patches before in prior years and they always made him jittery and nauseous. Since using these he hasn’t experienced either and they actually seem to be helping. There definitely not a quick fix but they do help with the cravings, and they allow him to make it longer between cigarettes. Our only complaint was the limited information available on this company and their product online. Also the patches don’t stay put during workouts or heavy perspiration. Other than that this has been a good purchase and definitely worth the lower price.
