Q: Can you connect wireless bookshelf speakers to this unit, or do the speakers have to be wired?

The unit does not have bluetooth. So wired speakers only.

Q: Can this amp be powered on/off by the remote?

Q: Can i stack the amplifier on the cd player like in the picture?

Thanks for your question. The amp may be stacked on top of the CD player, but only on top. The amp produces heat and needs the ventilation. Heat is not a factor with the CD player. World Wide Stereo is 41 years old and a proud authorized Cambridge Audio dealer.

Q: Is it possible to connect a subwoofer to this?

Hello, Thank you for contacting Cambridge Audio. Yes an active subwoofer can be connected to the AXA35 via the record outputs, labeled "Rec Out" on the back of the AXA35. Please note that the record outputs will output a full signal at all times and are not affected by the AXA35's volume control. Due to this, you may want to set your subwoofers volume at the average volume you'd use for listening on the subwoofers volume control. Best Regards, Cambridge Audio USA
