Follow the directions
I would give this a 4.5. I started 15 seeds 9 sprouted and 7 were viable. It is advertised as 30 seeds I received 45 which is a good return. It is impossible to predict which ones will sprout without scarifying the seed coat first. The seed coat is very tough and required a Dremel to break through. I did get a lot of success scarifying the end that looks like the belly button, but had they sprout from anywhere I broke through the seed coat. I followed the instructions on the site and also did a little research (1:25 m video on YouTube) on how to plant them and they seem to be thriving. Idk if they will bloom but it says 90-100 days for maturity. It has been 3 weeks.

Simple
Instructions on the packaging are very clear, but most had the ends snipped off and did not need to be sanded or grated.I placed 11 seeds in well water 4 days ago, some floated and some didn't, 6 have sprouted so far and one is floating because it did not have the end snipped off. It's still early, and baby plants are delicate, but this seems like a very good product.

Easy to sprout, only lotus seeds included despite product title, found grow/care instructions online
Seeds were more successful than I expected. Title was confusing, I thought it was a mix of water lily and lotus. It is just lotus, but I guess I can grow lotus here. I prepped 13 seeds, 2 floated (which means they are not viable) and the remaining seeds at least started to sprout. A couple didn't get past the initial sprout stage, but I have 8 baby lotus showing 2 leaves and will be ready to plant soon. Way more than I expected and I will have to give away some of the baby plants as I do not enough room in my water garden for all of them to grow. I was able to find info on sprouting and caring for them on youtube. There were not detailed instructions included. Excited to see them bloom!! Pardon my greedy, mooching minnows in the picture, they think it's feeding time all the time.

Description is wrong
Description is wrong I only received lotus seeds, that was disappointing, bt I need something now so I’m keeping what I received. As for the lotus seeds they are doing great! Put 9 of them in water July 1st and today July 6th I have 4 that are already showing forms of leaves and 3 that are starting to sprout and one that looks open bt no sprout yet. Really disappointing that I don’t have 2 different kinds of flowers bt I’m sure these will look nice.

Better than I could have imagined
I got 43 seeds instead of 30 and all but 6 sprouted within days. My tip is to soak for a day or 2 and then gently scoring the seed with a knife or blade as it softens them significantly and makes it safe and efficient to do so. Make sure to change the water daily until all sprouts are present. Great product wonderful deal!!!

No Directions
There are no directions so I used what I could find on line. The picture of the product shows flowers but I can’t see that that is going to happen. Yes they sprouted and yes they have something that looks like it might eventually be a leaf or something, but I really think they need to be in a pond or large fish tank. The picture looks like they are just in a bowl or planter of some sort so that is where mine are. It’s getting difficult to change the water and I wonder if they need some sort of soil (again, no directions). I’m feeling sad that I got them.

Lovely Plants
I love these lotus plants! This is my second batch I have purchased and they really sprout fast once the temps outside is nice and warm and sunny. They grow very fast and I'm just waiting for the flowers to start blooming in due time. I enjoy having these items, in the winter time you can grow them under heated plant lights, they just don't grow as fast unlike in the summer time, they are beautiful!
