Office Suite 2019 Professional for MS Windows PC & Mac Home Student Business Software Compatible with Microsoft Word Excel Disk 2 DVD Set by OpenOffice

Once I got my old brain straight it was pretty simple to load and get running. I have all my Excel files moved over and working. I'm quite happy not to have to PAY Microsoft for software every time I turn around, and don't miss their "uppates" that screw up my files! This solved my problems.

Description appears to be intentionally misleading.

First issue was the download took 2 attempts to work properly. Not sure why but, as I am creating a spreadsheet, every few minutes I get an error message and lose the data that was entered after the last time I saved the document, forcing me to have to save my work every few minutes. Another issue is the files I have created when saved does not save into "my documents" it only saves under Open Office while the program is open. I am unable to attach any of my created files to email, my medical patient portals, etc. I tried saving my spreadsheet as a pdf file but when I open it there isn't anything there. I don't know what I can do to make this compatible like an MS Office file would be. If I cant use the files as attachments or send to other people then what good is it? I purchased this because it was cheaper than Office 365. Now Im thinking about reconsidering.

I tried using this software on my MAC PC - it did not work.I contacted the seller - he sent me a fix - that did not work either.---- Correction ---- it worked as long as the disk was in the PC - I took the disk out and it no longer worked.Since the software was supposed to work on a Windows or MAC PC - I gave it to someone else who had a Windows PC - well - it did not work on their PC either.Don't know it I had a bad disk or what the situation was.I appreciate the support of the seller - but I wasted my money buying this software.

I have an older iMac and I did not want to send a lot on office software which I rarely use. Some corespondents send me .doc, .docx, .xls or .xlsx files that I can't open because I don't have MS Office. Apache was simple to install, can open any file and does everything I could want and more.

I seemed to have better luck with this Apache Office suite than others. I really only bought it for the word processing feature, as my IMac I bought in 2016 did not have one. I needed to buy an external drive From Amazon (SZYIKUER USB Portable external DVD/CD RWDrive..$16.14) )to install. After installation, I had a learning curve as it was no exactly like Microsoft word. I am not very techie but I was able to produce a resume that looks pretty nice. One thing I didn't realize is there was a link to pre-formatted resumes. I completed it, then was told I needed to buy it. I exited, but went back the next day and couldn't find it. I stated over again and produced my own resume with what was available from the Apache disk I bought. Looks very nice, and reformatted it to a pdf. Gave it 4 stars for the price and a positive outcome. I am very happy with the purchase.

The suite is comparable with my old MSOffice files many of which are spreadsheets I used to use at work. I have used all the products in the suite but spreadsheets are my main focal point with accompanying charts. Works every bit as good as MS Excel.
