Great quality pot with solid base. Probably won’t work with an existing steamer basket though.
After more years than I can count, it was time to replace our main stock pot with a new one because I managed to burn the entire bottom of the pot while steaming corn-on-the-cob and attempting to multi-task too many other things. I did my best to clean the other one but it wasn’t happening. So, I got on Amazon, and like so many others, went with this highly recommended option. It definitely is worth the high star rating. Unlike a lot of other overseas products, the base of this pot is SOLID!! It’s not that cheap metal we’ve become accustomed to. The lid is see-through so you can watch your food through the cooking process. I added a couple of pics for comparison. Our very old previous pot came with the steamer basket and a solid metal lid. Unfortunately, although that other pot and basket were also 8-Qt in size , the dims vary slightly enough that the steamer basket does not fit correctly on this new pot. I can’t give it any negative stars because they didn’t know I actually wanted that. Thankfully, I have another pot that it still fits perfectly on so will keep both products for the varying options. Great quality. Great price. Easy 5 stars for me. Hope this review helps.

Heavy duty, good sized, solid cooking pot
Appears to be a heavy-duty pot with glass cover and steam vent. I have not had a chance to cook using it, and will give more feedback if there are any adverse conditions resulting after my using it.

Great quality!
Quality is great ! Doesn’t stick and I was surprised it’s very easy to clean. Very happy with it for such a good price. I’ve only used it a few times so we will see how well it lasts

Sturdy
Built well but had strange thing when first used bottom made pot rock back n forth but it's flat not curved so I was and am confused
