This speaker is ideal for bringing with me everywhere I go. It is compact and packs easily in a beach, tote or duffle bag so I can listen to music anywhere. The construction is super rugged, it feels well built. Not only that but it is waterproof, this thing could be submerged in water and keep playing. It even floats on water! There are several convenient ways to carry it from the built in handle to the carabiner or mounting brackets for a handlebar. One of the coolest and most thoughtful features is the wireless charging pad on top so I can charge my phone while I listen. All these features add up to a thoughtfully designed speaker that is really a pleasure to use. I haven’t even gotten to the sound yet, wow does this thing pack a punch. My music sounds loud and clear. I can really crank it up and it sounds incredible across all volumes. It was perfect for last weekend when I was working outside and I just set it up in the area I was working and turned up my tunes so I could hear it everywhere. Excellent sound quality and excellent battery life too. Even charging my phone while it plays, the battery lasts all day. An incredible speaker at this price point.

I’ve been really impressed with this Bluetooth speaker so far. It feels tough and well-made, and I don’t worry about taking it outside since it’s waterproof and shockproof. I’ve already used it at the beach and in the snow, and it’s handled both without a problem. The sound quality is way better than I expected. The highs come through super clear and the bass has a nice punch to it, so whether I’m listening to music or podcasts, it always sounds full and balanced. It gets plenty loud too, which is great for outdoor gatherings. Battery life has been solid—I can easily get through the day without recharging, and the fact that it has quick USB-C charging and even wireless charging makes it really convenient. The Bluetooth connection has been strong, and I love that you can link multiple speakers together when you want a bigger sound. The RGB lights are a fun extra. I didn’t think I’d care about them, but they actually add a cool vibe in the evenings. Overall, this has been a great mix of durability, performance, and little modern touches that make it easy to use.

This radio is a POS. Fully charged and would only work for 5 min. Now it will NOT work at all. Called Altec and though the rep was polite, the language barrier was incredible. Spent good money and feel ripped off. Altec is sending a replacement but not sure what happens if the replacement is just as bad.

Had to download a graphic equalizer to my laptop in order to get it to sound good. Super heavy Bass.

I bought this to replace what I call my “beater” speaker. I needed a speaker that I could use outside, on the boat, during remodeling projects and small enough to throw it in a bag. I have had lesser quality speakers to use outdoors, but battery life, the sound quality as well as the volume was disappointing in those less expensive ones. This speaker didn’t cost much more than those speakers that I’d been using and trashing in the past, but has paid itself off by not breaking. The exterior is a rubber material and can handle being dropped, having paint on it and being splashed on the boat. It charges up via typeC so it’s fast charging. It even has the ability to wirelessly charge my phone. I didn’t even know that it comes with 2 mounting brackets. Using 2 brackets at once to clamp it to the rail of the boat has been ingenious. Because there’s 2, it doesn’t twist and unscrew itself when we’re bouncing in the waves. It connects to bt on my phone instantly. If I’m syncing another speaker to it, I hold down the bt button on the second speaker and it connects in 2 secs to the master speaker. It creates a great stereo sound out on the patio without obnoxiously large outdoor speakers.

This is an awesome speaker with great sound quality in a small container. It projects the sound well and is fun to have outside when we’re grilling or playing catch with the kids. It was super easy to set up and connect and even my kids can use it without needing help. The battery life is good and it doesn’t take long to charge it. I love that it’s easily portable, we use it a lot both inside (I listen to music while I clean) and outside.

If you even remotely appreciate clear music, you will not appreciate this speaker. No eq adjustment, speaker rattles and has terrible resonance. Anything above 30% volume pushes distortion. Bass heavy and very flat. Disappointed because it is very well made, seems to be nearly bulletproof however you can’t use the speaker for its intended purpose at normal volumes without heavy distortion.

This speaker is amazing! It connected to my phone great. It’s a good size speaker. It a fast charging speaker. It works very well. I like how durable this speaker is. It’s also waterproof which makes it great to use at the pool or beach. It has a 16 hour playtime. It’s portable and definitely worth the money.
