This is our favorite summer sausage, especially during the holidays. We typically buy it at WM during the holidays but it can be hard to find. (especially for those of us who live in the country) Our son in law loved this so much we sent him the large stick for NYE this year. He loved it! The size of the large stick is more economical with lots of gatherings over holidays. This shelf stable sausage isn't too greasy with a great flavor that cannot be found in cheaper brands . We remember the days that Hickory Farms stores were in the malls - the quality is still there! This is worth the money!

This is so yummy and indulgent. We save a little bit out and freeze the rest so it lasts forever during all the holiday celebrations. We have discovered that the thinner it is cut, the better it tastes. I want to add it to omlets or Mac and cheese. Freeze in small pieces, about 3”, so it always tastes fresh and Keep the Wrapper On.

Great quality from Hickory Farms. I miss the stores but the quality is still there.

Great flavor. 4 stars only reflect that I think it's slightly over-priced. I buy it regardless. Quality is great.

Too much fat content in the sausage now! It’s not like the way Hickory Farms use to make their summer sausage. Very disappointing, it’s very greasy tasting. You can actually see the chunks of fat content in the sausage. And the flavor has completely changed from the way it used to be made. This used to be one of our family favorites. We will no longer be ordering this. What a shame!
