I really wanted to love it.
I like it when it works. I use it with my iPhone 6. The connection time between the head unit and Apps is very slow. I use the Waze app while streaming music from my phone. I'm a tech savy person and its a bit confusing figuring out what app to open, Kenwood weblink app or Waze, on my phone to use Waze. You can connect via USB and weblink or Bluetooth for streaming audio. I installed the deck in my 350Z in about 40 minutes. I have had the screen go black while using the app and streaming through bluetooth at the same time I received a text message. The app didn't reappear on the deck. So I had to use my phones screen to get where I needed to go. The head unit constantly sends pop ups to the phone to allow connection. The head also tells me I need to download the Waze app while I already have it. Can't play music videos from YouTube through kenwood app. YouTube licenses don't allow it. The screen resolution is ok for the price. It does not compare with BMW 2018 touch screen resolution. I think an HDMI input on back would have been great for screen mirroring my iPhone.

Stoped working 2 months in
Bought brand new and 2 months later stops working. Contacted company and they qomt respond. Dont waste your money on it.

Forget the “13 band graphic EQ” this unit Lacks Parametric EQ adjust
Had this unit installed in my Jeep part of a massive sound system overhaul. The functionality is great and looks killer. My only complaint is the EQ. Don’t let the 13 band graphic EQ fool you. While there is ample opportunity to dial in your system with 13 center frequency bands and fantastic crossover adjustments, it lacks parametric adjustment and that’s a deal breaker for me. I can never find the sweet spot in any album I play. I spent literally days if not weeks riding and adjusting parameters only to be repeatedly disappointed. I’m a musician and an audio purist and as much as I want to love this unit, I just can’t without optimal parametric equalization adjustments. You can get close to dialing good sound in but I consistently get listeners fatigue as something is usually missing. Maybe the average listener won’t notice but if you are hardcore about hearing extreme detail and clarity in your music do yourself a favor a go with an Alpine head unit that includes parametric EQ. You won’t be disappointed. Just my opinion.

I like the touchscreen. Replaced the factory radio my Taco.
