Haritaki Terminalia Chebula is an evergreen tree up to 20 m high with egg-shaped leaves, white flowers and small five-leaf yellow to orange-brown stone fruits used in the Ayurvedic diet. The powder ground in our production fine and gentle (below 40 °C) from the fruits comes from our Indian and Srilankese fair trade and organic projects. This product correlates according to Ayurveda at the level of the harmonious balance of the Doshas by balancing the six flavours. It provides the flavours of tarts, sweet, sour, bitter and sharp. Doshas are Ayurvedic principles that are not equivalent in modern science.
