Works great as a repeater
I needed an HDMI repeater with eArc support, due to having an old 10 metre long HDMI 1.4 cable plastered into the wall by the previous owner. Even though I’m only using this cable for audio, it still could not cope with the Atmos data rates. I now have this at the end of the 10m cable, with a Cat6 patch cable to connect the two units together, and then another 5m run to a Sonos Arc and it has fixed all my issues. So whilst I can’t comment on it’s abilities over network cables, it works great as a repeater and is able to receive dodgy signals far better than a Sonos Arc, which was dropping out even when plugged directly to the just the long 1.4 cable.

Paid full price and received an open box with all cables and accessories loose in the box. Obviously a returned unit. Tested and working fine but still……..

This item was exactly what I needed. I had ordered their model 4KEX40-eARCH. I had a CAT6 run to my media closet and I could never get stable audio with that device. Johnny of AV tech support helped me identify the issue as that unit is better suited to Cat6a cable. It was not possible to run that in my house. This model eARC100 fully met my needs of transmitting stable audio back to my AVR over my CAT6 with no issues.

I purchased this product when I found it was too hard to run 30’ of HDMI through walls from TV (signal source) to Home Theater receiver (speaker driver) to support eARC. But I had Cat6 already in place. Installation was simple and fast, the device worked immediately, and with eARC I didn't even need IR remote -- the TV was able to control power and settings of the Receiver using eARC. Great solution that worked out-of-box the first time.
