A Minimalist Gem
I live in Chicago, where there is very little gradient. I bought this bike as an alternative to using public transit and to use for leisure during the summer. After six months of regular use, I can say that I've been very impressed with this bike. Assembly was straightforward and I have had no issues with any parts. Without extra gears and brake pads, the minimalist design is ideal for first time buyers and bikers who don't much care about custom parts or fittings and just want to...ride a bike. I highly recommend!*3/7/19 UPDATE*2.5 years later and this bike still rides great. Riding to work daily, through heat, rain and sub-zero temperatures, without issue. All parts are still original. Very satisfied with this bike.

Slows, doesn't stop. And not for short people.
I'm 5'2" with a 28 inch inseam so the 43 should have been fine for me but as an urban commuter it really really wasn't. In order to have my knees not feel funny I had to raise the seat way too high for it to be safe to ride in traffic. (EG if you have to stop suddenly you're kind of screwed because a) you can't with this brake and b) your feet don't touch the ground standing over the rail - you have to hop entirely off the bike). That said, the quality of this bike is amazing for the price. (I paid $105). If you're 5'4" or taller and you install a front brake on this thing I think you'll be really really happy. So - 1 star for the sizing being off and -1 star for ineffective braking system.

Greatly exceeded my expectations
This bike was more than I could have asked for. It's rugged and reliable while being extremely simple. I've been commuting on it for a couple months now and have had no issues. In fact, the ride is quite comfortable. The quality of the build is on par with bikes in the $500 range.Be aware this does have a coaster brake. It is worth looking that up if you are not familiar with it and I would suggest trying one out first before making a purchase because not everyone likes them. However, I love coaster brakes, and the brakes on this bike feel great.

I think it is a great bike. I've seen reviews that say you can ...
I've had this bike for two weeks now, and I have been riding it every day. I think it is a great bike.I've seen reviews that say you can put it together in fifteen minutes. Nonsense! It takes fifteen minutes to unpack it and unwrap the parts. Unless you are a professional bike mechanic, it will take you more like 45 minutes or an hour. But all the parts fit together nicely.I am totally pleased with the bike. The value for the dollar is incredible. And it looks great! I won't leave it unlocked for a second, for fear someone will steal it.

Pictures are deceiving
Skinny tires and small seat... not fun. I'm guessing it's my fault to not know the millimeter width of a tire, but they sure did not look as thin in the pictures, very deceiving. If you like a small seat that you barely fit on... then it's ok. It is a smallllll seat. I had to work on putting the chain guard on so it would not rub the chain. Other than this... it's a one-speed bicycle. It works. Going forward... I recommend sitting on the bicycle you want to purchase before ordering online.

Best Fixie you can get for the price range
I had purchased the black and grey bike a couple of years ago and had to replace it since it got stolen. This time around I went with the Sage green and I must say, there were some noticeable improvements. Truth be told, I'm not sure if the improvements varied by design or the company had actually decided to upgrade the bike parts. One major improvement was the tire which originally came with 700*23 size tires in the older version. Now the bike came with 700*28 size tires which is a great improvement since the size difference protects from flats a lot easier. The parts on the bike themselves appear sturdier prof higher quality from the chain to the spokes.

Perfect for me!
I wanted an inexpensive bike since I am a beginner. This bike is perfect for riding around downtown. It was easy to assemble and the 43cm is the perfect size. I wish the seat went down just a tad lower, but I can still ride comfortably. Added accessories and stickers and have even received compliments! Hoping it holds up for a long time.

Great bike for the price,
This is a sweet bike, looks good and assembled easily. Bought it for my son-inlaw who did not want gears or hi-tech braking systems. Probably the only thing I would change is the 25mm tires; as keeping them pumped to 100 psi is probably not going to happen. Lots of pinch flats in his future, I added a front brake because he is riding with young kids and on his first ride he used the braking power to avoid his daughter cutting across his line.
