For me, life-changing comfort and sound muting.
I have sensitive hearing, and in the past I've used earplugs that I found uncomfortable and that didn't fit me at all. I'd given up on finding something that worked for me, when a friend told me about Loop. I did a LOT of research online, these earplugs are not cheap throw-aways. Eventually I took the plunge.I was happy to see that there were different sizes (I have small ear passages), and I specifically chose the type of Loop that is designed for different sound levels. The earplugs arrived promptly, very well (and attractively) packaged. I carefully put one in, a twist to get it settled and I was very happy how well it fit. With both in I was astonished how much the sound around me was muted. I tried them with the insert on and it worked as promised, muting the sound even more.I like that the earplug sits pretty flush to the ear, I've napped with them on and had no issues with comfort even though I sleep on my side. Removing the earplug is very easy, just another slight twist and a pull.I like the little case that comes with them, it holds the earplugs securely and so far hasn't opened accidentally. I wouldn't feel comfortable attaching the case to my keyring or exterior of any handbag, though. That could just be me.I've used the earplugs at the theatre, babysitting my friend's toddler who is cute but loud, in the grocery store, in planes, at coffee shops. I'm really happy that I can select how much volume I want muted, from almost complete silence to dulling loud noises. They're comfortable enough to wear for long stretches of time and easy to remove in a second if I need to talk to someone. Some people complained that the earplugs made their breathing very noticable. It's true, and the sudden shock lack of external noise seems to highlight it. I was super motivated to push through it because I really suffer without earplugs, but I also thought the breathing noises were natural and easy to ignore. A few hours in I didn't notice them at all and on subsequent days I felt it was negligible.I'd also like to mention that the earplugs are pretty discreet. I have clear ones, and even with the black mute ring attached they are unnoticeable. There are plenty of vibrant colors if you want to accessorize with the earplugs, and their interesting design make them look fun.I wish I'd had these earplugs years ago. They reduced my stress levels a lot.

Does the job and looks better than the florescent earplugs
Things I love about this product: NOISE but at a tolerable level. My ears start bothering me at about 70 decibels and this helps so much, in so many different environments; so these definitely do function as intended. My main complaint is I can't hear how loud (or soft) my voice is when they are in. Talking while they are in is very loud internally and sort of takes away the point of wearing them. Very easily solved by taking them out, but if you're in a loud environment that may not be very desirable. A small complaint about the color the mutes are. I wish they matched the earplugs and weren't so noticeable. I also love the pink color, as it's almost flesh toned (I'm white), which I don't think was the goal with this color, but I would love to see more colors for other persons of color and just different color options to match my mood, outfit, etc. These have helped me with navigating busy gas stations, airports/flights, baseball games, concerts, and I'll be bringing them with me to Disney World in the Fall to really put them to the test. I do not use them while sleeping, because after having to wear them completely sealed for a few hours they can start to be uncomfortable for me. They do stay in place, and are pretty small, so they can always fit in whatever bag I'm toting.

Fantastic Noisy-Life Sidekicks
Do you get overwhelmed when in a large crowd of people? Is going to the movies uncomfortable bc the sound is too loud? I carry around a clear pair everywhere I go just in case. I can now weave and navigate crowds without feeling overwhelmed by people noises. I enjoy going to the movies again, when it gets too loud in the theater I just pop them in and sit back, an upgrade from having to plug my ears with my fingers. The size small tips fit perfect and my ears do not hurt after wearing them for long stretches. Can still hear the person speaking to me so long as it’s not a whisper. Only thing is that the sound of your own chewing and speaking will be loud in your head. Solid material that I don’t have to charge or freak out if I loose one bc I didn’t spend $150 on electronic ANC ear buds. And they don’t block out too much, just enough to take the ‘edge’ off the noise level.

Good and bad
They are pretty comfortable and I like the case. I can wear them to bed easier than earbuds. The foam tips combined with the mutes provide good noise suppression overall. Wearing with regular tips in public/social situations without mutes is doable and can be helpful. One issue I’ve had is irritation in one of my ears. One of them started bleeding a bit and was sore. Now I have bad tinnitus and I didn’t have it before! I’m hoping this is just temporary or because of irritation or built up wax. I also think these are too expenses, and I’m willing to bet the knock-offs are just as good.Keep your expectations reasonable. It’s not going to cure your ADHD/Autism or make your life completely different. They are just a useful and nifty tool to have when you are overwhelmed by noise.

Excellent Performance & Well-Fitting
These are so comfortable, and they successfully muffle some of the background noise in a loud pub while playing acoustic music. Easier to hear myself, and effective at what they purport to do. I think they were a little too expensive, but that might be because they were the first out of the gate and now there are multiple copies of the original design idea available. I especially like that they come with a very small case that actually slips into a pocket, or in my case, a very small instrument case.

Comfy, discreet and helps take of the edge
These are the most comfortable set of earplugs i've ever worn. They're discreet and it just tones down the noise. I use them around the kids when I feel overstimulated by the loudness and I can still hear everything but its just not ringing my ears. Would recommend.
