It works great at my work. I use it for occasional stapler use. The tank is small, so maybe not best option for large jobs.I use it for maybe 24 staples at a time, so it only kicks on once during that process.And it is quiet and maintenance free, except for draining tank condensation.

I needed an air compressor to use my air stapler for upholstery. I don't have an outside shop so I use an extra bedroom. This little compressor is so quiet it cannot be heard downstairs. It takes only a couple minutes to fill and less than a minute to refill as I am using it. It is small enough that I can keep it handy. There is very little vibration; it does not walk or move as I am using it. Also generates enough air for my stapler with no problem. I gave it only 4 stars for portability only because it's kind of awkward to carry. It has a handle which is great but because it's squarish, I have to hold it out to prevent it from slamming into my legs as I walk. Let's just say I would not want to have to carry it upstairs every day. I highly recommend and would definitely buy again. Small business too!

First the packaging. Came in a sturdy box well guarded inside with packing. No issues right out of the box. Easy to use regulator with a working gauges that are actually pretty close to perfect. From the floor up about half way on my shin is the height footprint. Normal feet apart stance is about the width. A large shoe is how deep it is front to back. The handle was actually in a good spot for what I needed to do and get it n a tight spot. It is about conversation loud/noise. Not yelling-just normal. A long enough power cord that it did not have to sit right on top of an outlet. Combine a quick connect type hose that plugs i to the air delivery hole and you have air at your command. It is not meant for large air tool. No way could it keep up. But a few short blast of air to blow off a work bench-perfect. The price is right, the noise level is great, the air delivery is easy and typical air connections, electrical needs are nothing special-just a 120 volt three prong outlet. It fits in most spots with room to spare (if you need an air compressor-they are usually not a small piece of equipment)I would buy this again and again and again

May, I love this thing. I’m 65 this year, so decided to downsize since I no longer need a $400 air compressor taking up real estate on the floor in my garage. And the smaller compressor I had on my storage shelf was obnoxiously loud and about 10 pounds heavier than this one. So I ordered this smaller compressor and gifted the other two to my kids, who were always relying on me to air up their tires. Now they can handle that chore on their own.Before I gave those two away, though, I waited until this compressor arrived to test it out:As promised, it’s very quiet. Two people can carry on a normal conversation standing right in front of it. You won’t need hearing protection. Nice. Sitting in the garage, the 15 gallon DeWalt I gave my son would wake me up in the middle of the night from the other end of the house if I forgot to unplug it. I was afraid it would wake the neighbors and violate some city noise regulation it was so loud.The CA compressor is lighter than my 2 gallon portable compressor, as I would expect.. I no longer have to dread picking it up to carry it to the job location around the house.I was pleasantly surprised to find that the female air socket on the compressor was operable with one hand. Kudos to California Air Tools for adding that.The fit and finish are more than satisfactory. I could find nothing to complain about.I comes with the plastic air filter detached. So I installed that, plugged it in and the compressor quickly and quietly charged right up. I tested my small air nailers, up to the 18 gage unit. You shoot two or three nails and it kicks on for a few seconds, but you should expect that with a 1 gallon compressor. For a homeowner doing small jobs around the house, I would think this would work out just fine. It even runs my small palm nailer, which I use a lot for nailing jobs where it’s difficult to swing a hammer.It this continues to operate as it did today, I have no problem rating it 5 stars. Best compressor I’ve ever owned for its size.

I just got this and used it on one job. I think I'm gonna love it if it holds up. I paid $100 for my last one, a Husky that has worked hard for 15 years and is still kicking. Dropped it of a scaffold so it no longer has a reg. or gauges. It feels and sounds well built. Time will tell.

Using this as an air duster to avoid going thru cans of compressed air that rely on propellant that is a greenhouse gas. It is way more powerful than canned air dusters, and has many more uses with any low cost attachment set. Should have gotten one of these a long time ago.

I wanted a small, quiet compressor for jobs like cleaning carburetors or running a brad nailer that don't require a ton of air capacity and that's exactly what this little thing excels at. It's so quiet you can work right over it without being bothered and it airs up quickly with the small tank, perfect for light duty work.

Wow! Just wow. After decades of being around "normal" air compressors I was really shocked at just how quiet this compressor is. The unit I replaced was so loud I would have to use my noise-cancelling headphones when it was running, and it took forever to fill a 2 gallon tank. This one gallon unit went from 0 - 120 psi in under 90 seconds and I could have a normal level conversation while it was filling. Amazing. The one gallon is sufficient for my needs because it's only being used to blow chips/sawdust out of the bowl that I'm turning and/or to blow dust away in the lathe area. It's small enough to fit right under my bench and still be handy. I wish I had made this purchase a long time ago. When the time comes to replace my 20 gallon tank you can be sure that this brand will be at the top of the shopping list.

Amazingly quiet. (Make sure you put the muffler air filter on... pretty quiet even without it, but what a difference when it is installed). Pretty small though I wish the handle is removable for even lower profile, and the pressure valve is the pull-to-adjust, push-to-lock type. Very satisfy right from the start, the next is it’s longevity. :)Quickly fill from 0-125psi, then stops. Leaks air gradually and then hold steady at 8KG/cm2 for 12min and counting. Looking good I’d say.I’d give full stars if the unit is made same dimension as the smallest measure for people with limited storage space. (Shrink the handle/protection cage further)Afterthoughts: (few uses after)Still great and quiet unit. Perfect for condo users. But if space is not a concern, get a bigger tank unit. I use it as air blower to clean dust off equipment and it lasts only briefly on continuous blowing. (But footprint is a concern for me so I have to adjust). I left 90psi in the tank over night intentionally and after 10 hours it is still the same. Very satisfied.

I was doing my baseboards and did not want to move my large, loud and heavy husky compressor into the house so I purchased this for the sole purpose of doing my baseboards. I was very impressed with the quality, how quiet it is, light and easy to move around. The tank fills quickly and never had any issue with it keeping up.Very impressed, good value.

No sé si se pueda conectar un tanque adicional más grande, eso dependerá del ciclo de trabajo del compresor, hasta el momento he barnizado una puerta de madera cuya superficie es mayormente vidrio y el esqueleto de madera, me funcionó de maravilla pero si noté un decremento de presión al finalizar cada capa.
