I got the VEGALILLY topper in the colour "blonde with dark roots", the topper or "wiglet" arrived in a plastic bag with a care instruction card and a reusable net for storing the topper in so that it doesn't get tangled.The "blonde with dark roots" colour is a really nice blend of blonde tones with a gradual shift to the darker roots and was a great match to my actual blonde hair. Sadly, the colour is probably the best thing about this topper.It has a tiny lace front with the product information saying that there's a hand plucked hairline, I didn't really see any evidence of it being hand plucked as the hairline is symmetrical to both sides, it's in a straight and solid horizontal line with no variance and there aren't any fine or baby hairs that would soften the edges and make it look natural.I'd also say that the topper I received was nowhere near as dense as the ones shown in the product videos.Being generous I'd say it's a medium-low density at the roots due to the shorter hairs close to the top of the wefts and is quite sparse at the bottom. This is quite typical of toppers/wiglets but when I compare it the other toppers I own, this one definitely has less hair throughout.The topper is nicely waved but there's a huge disconnection between the fringe and the lengths with no blending or feathering to the cut, the topper I received had quite a noticeable gap between the fringe and the lengths when holding it that became even more noticeable when I was wearing it.The horizontal wefts have some areas of extremely short hair and, as the hair is synthetic and the individual strands are quite thick, those shorter hairs near the roots visibly stick out through the rest of the hair and would require a lot of trimming to get rid of.I've worn a lot of wigs and hair pieces for theatre productions and for cosplay so I know that my head is boringly average in size and shape, I don't usually have any issues with things fitting correctly so I was a bit surprised at how badly this topper sat on my head.Even with damping down my own hair, which isn't particularly voluminous, and using hair pins as well as the comb clasps on the topper, it refused to sit naturally. I tried rotating it, tilting it, moving it further backwards, moving it further forwards, damping it and restyling but it still sat in a way that looked like I was smuggling a tiny pyramid on the top of my head.On the plus side, it can be restyled and you can certainly trim it if your hair is shorter than 20 inches. I probably wouldn't try and straighten it though as there's no mention of heat tolerance in the product information.It may fit better if you have a very small or very narrow head and it may be perfect if you want a conical look or are using it for cosplay wig making but for me, this topper is not something I would wear unless it was under a hat. As there are much better quality toppers available for around the same price, if not cheaper, I don't really feel comfortable recommending this one.
