MAKING THE CUT
While just holding the pullsaw in my hand, I find the wood handle finish too smooth and slippery. How this folds and unfolds is a delight, and the lock is firm. The blade has a great finish, it’s firm and flexible, and the teeth are on point. During use I didn’t notice the finish of the handle due to a lighter grip while sawing. Perhaps as a personal preference I’d sand it down and add an oil finish. The box to store it is also a bonus, the magnetic closures are a great touch. The saw is worth getting and I’d hight recommend it to anyone interested, you’ll get more than your monies worth on this item.

Gift for dad
This item came folded, which is a good thing because it is sharp. It isn’t ment to cut down large trees, but is light weight and will cut through branches with comfort. Folded, it will fit right into men’s pockets and is quite useful to keep at the campsite.

Review from a carpenter: a solid all around option
This saw is great value for the money. I'm a carpenter and a professional cabinet maker and I use this saw all the time. I've had it for about a year and it's still one of my daily drivers!Durability is what you would expect at this price point. The black paint comes off over time but doesn't mar the finish of your workpiece. My biggest complaint is that it's not as sturdy as I would like - but I also put this saw through a lot. Because this is a folding saw, it can be a little bit rickety. The clasping hardware doesn't work super great, but they seem to have upgraded the model since I purchased, so it might be different now. As far as cut quality goes, I'd give it 4/5. This saw is ideal for niche applications and is a great EDC tool for that reason. If you need something reliable and highly practical, this is a great option! The kerf is slightly different for both sides of the blade so keep that in mind. One side is more aggressive and one side gives a finer finish. The packaging is very nice, which tells you the brand takes some pride in their product - unlike a lot of budget tools on Amazon.

Beware the burrs
Burrs! This tool came with burrs left on the stamped metal before it was spray coated. One of the tension washers were also shattered when I went to take this apart to deburr and sand. The blade is sharp enough to use immediately, but the handle is a bit too large for my hands, and I wear a size M/L in nitrile gloves.I will likely grind down the handle to fit my size better, and oil the hinges so it swings more like a butterfly knife for one handed operation.

O
As long as I have been buying from Amazon I really have been satisfied with the products. There is one I was not happy with it was the router bit for planning off material I believe it was 2 inch all it did was burn up leaving black on my waterial .Other than that I am happy with everything else.

Okay
It's a nice design overall but the kicker is the cut of the teeth is a really cheap prodedure compared to how a good japanese saw is made and the result is that it's a lot harder to use and less accurate and less effective than good japanese saw. The packaging meanwhile is sooo deluxe like it was sold to investors as a good project to fund based on a fancy jewelery box and a satin bag that the thing came in. So much rather you guys put that money into good blade engineering and just ship it in a box or bag. Rather a letdown with that mismatched combination of factors. Might make a good gift for a kid getting into carpentry or camping! thanks
