Briar Hill 3.5 Inch x 10 Yard Upholstery or Craft Jute Webbing, Natural with Red Stripes

This roll was very good, did what I needed it for! I wish I could have bought a smaller roll, I have a lot left over that will probably never be used!

After reading many of the reviews and notating the uses for the different types of webbing, I used this to fix a seat on an antique dining chair that belonged to my Grandmother. I figured, hey, why not try?? I did order a stretcher to go along with this. It took a couple of tries to get understand how the stretcher worked but pretty easy once I figured it out. It worked great and I know it saved me a ton of money by not having to take it to an upholstery shop. I love the way it turned out and the feeling of being able to do it myself. Well, my husband did help with holding the chair while in progress!

This is my first time attempting to restrap a chair. This was just enough for my needs. The webbing is sturdy and does not fray when cut. I recommend using a pull tool to stretch and secure this. Four stars because i havent sat on the chair yet.September 2020. Update.This webbing is holding up very well. I only remembered to update because I'm back looking for more of this type of webbing for another chair.

This webbing worked great as a replacement for the previous ripped material. The seat doesn't sag anymore with weight.

Our chair with coil springs was sagging and needed the jute webbing replaced. This Jute with the red strip is strong and did a great job compressing and holding the springs up tight.

I bought this for my recliner where the seat had ripped on the bottom. I watched a youtube video on how to use this product. It works perfectly. Stretched out a little after a few weeks but I did not stretch it (as told to do in the video) when I nailed it down so I expected that to happen. Can't really tell when you sit on it. Glad I did not have to buy new couches. Easy DIY fix.

I used this to reweb the seat of hair that had long ago had pirelli strips. I chose the jute because the slots in the seat of the chair were somewhat damaged and I wasn't sure that clips would hold the rubber strips. The jute worked very well. If you haven't worked with this type of jute webbing, be aware that it will create a lot of lint that will get on you and on your floor. Not a huge problem, but it wasn't one that I anticipated.
