The pens work really well and being double ended they are versatile. Paint coverage is good and you only need a second layer on some darker surfaces. The pen holder is good and you get spare nibs and swatch cards.The only negative is the included colours. Some seem to be a weird choice for me. I would prefer a set with a range of basic colours and miss out the metallics etc.

I love pottery painting and this is the second set of acrylic pens I've tried. They come secured in a lovely zip-up case that includes black and white test cards to try out the colours. There are also a number of spare nibs, as well as instructions and tips for how to get the best out of them. Once they get going, the ink flow is good, and generally only one coat is required. They dry fairly quickly, too. There are two thicknesses, allowing for either more coverage or finer detailing. The metallic colours look great, although it would have been nice to include some more basic colours too. This is a fantastic set of pens - highly recommended!

I like how they have dual nibs. They were easy to activate and not too expensive. I do find the shape of the bigger nib a bit hard to use as it’s rounded rather than pointed, but I do think they’re good quality. You get spare nibs for the thick and the thin sides. The thin nibs seem to be made of plastic but write really smooth, I kind of wish the other end was also plastic. I like the colours, I wasn’t expecting to get neons and metallics as well but it was a welcome surprise!

This is a very good and comprehensive set of acrylic paint pens. There is a good range of metallic colours, and having 2 black and 4 white pens is a great, thoughtful way of building this set.The case is strong and serves its purpose well. There is even a white outlined drawing on the front that you can colour in as practice if you want to.Another really good detail is the inclusion of a blank black and a blank white sample card. This means that you can fill the colours as you use them, and you see the effect of your pens, not the factory standard.The set is completed with some spare tips.These pens are very easy to use and, at about £25, are not overpriced. The colours are strong, although I did feel the white pens could have been better. The white may need 2 coats when used on a darker background.The rest of the colours are very strong. They don't bleed on normal paper, although they can bleed through the paper a little.The important thing to remember is that they are pens filled with acrylic paint. They take a while to dry, and about 24 hours to set properly. The hard tips can make getting a smooth finish difficult, but this is more a matter of practice. I am a complete novice with paint-based pens, so I am sure that there is a learning curve to go through.As a novice, I would say that this is an excellent starter set and well worth trying out.

It's clear some thought went into the packaging and usability.One thing to note: these are true acrylic paint pens, so the ink takes time to dry and fully cure. On smoother surfaces, it may take longer and require multiple coats, particularly with lighter colours like white.Overall, a good-quality set that’s beginner-friendly but with enough polish to satisfy experienced hobbyists too.

These acrylic markers are excellent. My teenage niece, who’s already made great use of them, was amazed by the colour range and how well they work. I tried them with her and was really impressed by how easy it was to get the ink flowing, and how smoothly and evenly the colour went down.They’re double-ended, so you can switch between thicker lines and finer detail, and the metallic shades really pop. We used them on card and thick paper and got strong results straight away, with no smudging and no patchiness. The ink seems to last well too, which isn’t always the case with paint pens.The set comes in a tidy zip-up case, with spare nibs and swatch cards, which makes it feel like good value. I’m very happy to recommend these. The quality is fantastic.

These pens are very good quality, including a range of striking metallic colours. The pens are double ended, with a supply of spare tips. I am a keen amateur crafter, and these pens give a lovely effect on ceramics and glass. Coverage is good, and drying is quick. This set would make a lovely gift at a reasonable price. I’m very pleased with them.
