If you cycle in the hills, you need this.
My road bike came with a 11-28 cassette fitted as standard (Shimano). This has been my first upgrade and I anticipated a straight swap for this 11-32 cassette as they should, and probably are, the same width. After a huge amount of effort to remove the locking ring, off came the 11-28 and on went the 11-32. However, there was a huge amount of lateral 'slide' on the hub behind the fixed 11T - the locking ring simply wasn't closing the 11T tight against the rest of the cassette. Enter a standard Shimano 1mm spacer, placed inboard of the cassette, tighten and now I have one solid cassette.As to the improvement in my ability to climb hills - a quantum leap so if you are presented with appreciable climbs in your part of the world, get that 32T cog.

Got these to replace an existing one which was of less quality that a shimano-I put one on my other cycle last spring have done about 800 miles on it no problems, smooth transmission easy to fit

Excellent Product
Inexperienced in replacing cassettes but needed one for a 2nd hand MTB I recently purchased. I ended up changing it myself. A simple job and I'm delighted with the results. The new cassette works absolutely beautifully, smoother shifts and now I can use all of the gears when out and about. Very pleased with my purchase, the service and the outcome. 💪

Easier Cycling
Much easier to climb the hills now with a higher teeth count 1st gear

Improves very steep climbs cadence but make the jumps between cogs worse
It worsens the jumb between cogs " obviously " it is a 8 speed, but I live in the Lake District and some climbs are really really steep, so this Cassette it's a life-saver.
