cheap, but effective, pedal board
I'm glad I chose this tape. Sticks well to both the wooden board and the effects units. I was worried that some units had screw heads that protruded, however, this tape is thick enough and strong enough to cope with this. Maybe because it's made or marketed by Donner, it works well in this context. Btw, I used a cheap bamboo chopping board for the base with 4 rubber feet from the same store. All in all, it cost less than £20 to make. (Not including the effects and power supply)

Does exactly what you need it to do!
In the 1997 comedy film Men In Black it was suggested that hook and loop tape (known as velcro) is alien technology, actually it was invented by a Swiss engineer in the 1940, but wherever it came from velcro has become invaluable to guitarists for fixing pedals to their pedalboards!I bought the Donner Pedal Board Mounting Tape when building a small pedalboard of mini-sized guitar FX pedals made by Donner and other manufacturers, and there's not much to say other than It does exactly what you need it to!.The purchased item consists of two decent length rolls of tape - The first component features tiny hooks, the second features smaller loops. When the two are pressed together the hooks catch in the loops and the two pieces fasten or bind temporarily. Each tape has plenty of adhesive on the back to stick to the board/pedals and it works perfectly. I now have a useful portable pedal board for rehearsals and small gigs with the pedals fixed solidly in place and I can confidently recommend this tape for this and other similar uses. When building a board I recommend spending some time mocking up the layout before you actually start fixing the pedals in place. If you're not sure of the best order to put them in there's plenty of advice available on line. I usually follow this order: Tuner/Wah/Compression/Overdrive/EQ/Pitch/Modulation/Delay but play around with the order to find out what suits you best. Also I've found slightly heating up the tape with a hairdryer before fixing on the tape helps to make the glue slightly more malleable and help adhesion. Let it dry properly before you fix the pedal to you board, but if you do need to move them another useful tip is to slide a round ended table knife under the pedal to help you ease it off as this prevents unnecessary pulling to the velcro.

Decent quality
This pedal board tape works better than a more pricy product I used previously.Recommended.

Does the job at a good price.
I like that it adheres well to the surface, the hook & loop system is decent in quality and works fine. It strong enough to hold normal size pedals without breaking the adhesion of the tape to the board when removing them.

Excellent.
There's not much you can say about velcro with sticky tape on the back. All I know is my pedal boards are sorted, and even my remote controls now stay where they are meant to..

Grippy where it counts!
Good grip strength and keeps everything where you need it (on the pedal board at least). Plenty tape should keep me going for a while as I swap things around. Nothing to criticise, does what you'd expect!

Affordable
Comes nicely rolled. The tape is very affordable but the velcro seems to do the job very well. If you need to get new tape, this would be a fine choice.
