I am blown away by this beauty and wish I had it years ago for so many of the DIY jobs that I have done that required a spirit level or plumb line. This mini marvel maybe technologically advanced but it is a breeze to use. There is simply a power on switch, brightness setting and two buttons to turn on/off the horizontal and vertical lines. You get the same controls on the nicely made remote control. As long as you have the leveller reasonably level, it auto levels the rest of the way and emits a bright straight laser line on whatever surface you plan to shine it on. I fit is completely wonky, then it will blink at you to do a better job. This item has a Class 2 laser is relatively weak, but just be careful not to look at the light for too long particularly if you have kids around as it can dazzle.To get the positioning accurate, you will need to use the tripod to direct it onto the surface but this is probably the weakest part of the product. Don't get me wrong, the tripod is perfectly usable, but it is quite plasticky and not the steadiest that I have tried. It is no Hama that's for sure! Fortunately it comes with a 1/4" thread so I can use my far more stable and adjustable Hama tripod instead.Additionally, this also comes with a magnetic bracket for metal surfaces, carry case and an extra battery which is brilliant as running out of power on a job would be extremely frustrating. In conclusion, I would rate the product 5 stars purely because the levelling unit (not so much the tripod) has been absolutely brilliant for putting up shelves recently and I have been able to get them perfectly aligned and level in next to no time.

I ordered this as I install multiple 65" LCD displays into venues and it will help wih bracket alignment.I realise this is not really for home diy, but rather than wait until the next project I decided to test it as I needed to fit curtain tracks and poles following removal of woodchip paper (yuk) and then replastering - and it performs amazingly. In the photo I used self-levelling mode with the tripod located on a set of stairs.The included tripod, whilst being plastic is very secure with feet that swivel to handle uneven surfaces. It has a max height of around 1.5m. Also includes a mag mount bracket.The level itself is extremely well built and supplied with an unpadded fabric bag. Batteries are removable and it is supplied with a second battery. I appreciate this, as when you are on a job USB-C rechargeable devices can be a nuisance if they run out of charge. It has a USB port so you can run from an external power source (I always keep a power bank with me on location)Also includes a remote which adjusts brightness and pulse mode. The unit is intuitive to use but supplied with an owner’s manual too.Looking forward to using this on future AV installations.

Please see my video for a hands on review, but the summary is this is a fantastic green laser level for any home projects.I was using it in a bathroom renovation and the ability to shoot lines horizontal and vertical was great to verify my large format tiling. I’ll be renovating a kitchen in the near future and this will be amazing for leveling cabinets in all directions.A few notes:PROs:-Green laser lines are much easier to see and read than red. The lines were sharp all the way around the room.-You have the ability to toggle individual green lines on and off if not needed.-The tripod is great- pivot leveling feet; strong telescopic legs with solid lock; and then the best is the crank so you can adjust up/down over 12” without having to mess with the legs.-The attachment to connect the level to the tripod has a quick release on a tilt plate. This means you can quickly take it off the tripod without having to unscrew. Then you snap it back onto the tripod when needed.-There is a remote, but I didn’t play with it for this project.-Very easy to use. I had it out of the box and setup within a couple minutes the first time.-Battery time was excellent and I completed my whole project without needing a recharge.CONs-Comes with a USB-C charging cable, but no block which seems to be the new norm for manufacturers.VINE COMMITMENT: I selected this product through the Amazon Vine program to review. Neben dem Laser, ist das Stativ, die Trägereinheit, eine Magnethalterung, 2 Akkus und eine Fernbedienung und zwei Bedienungsanleitungen im Lieferumfang enthalten. Schon beim Auspacken war ich überrascht von der Qualität der einzelnen Teile.Das Stativ wirkt hochwertig und stabil. Die Beine sind aus Aluminium, alles andere aus robustem Kunststoff. Der Aufstellen und zusammenklappen geht einfach und leichtgängig. Ebenso gut geht die Höhenverstellung von 47cm bis 153cm sind möglich. Auch voll ausgefahren steht das Stativ noch sicher.Die Magnethalterung funktioniert gut und die Magnete sind stark genug um den Laser zu halten.Funktionell, stabil und gut verarbeitet ist auch die Trägereinheit, welche an das Stativ geschraubt werden kann. Diese besteht aus 2 Teilen. Dem eigentlichem Träger und einer kleinen Halteplatte welche am Laser befestigt wird und dort auch verbleiben kann. So lässt sich der Laser durch einen Schnellverschluss mit einem Handgriff befestigen und wieder abnehmen. Die Trägereinheit bietet noch einiges an Einstellmöglichkeiten ist neigbar und verfügt über eine integrierte Wasserwaage. Der Laser selbst befindet sich zusammen mit den Akkus, der Fernbedienung und einem USB C Ladekabel in einer Tasche aus widerstandsfähigem Gewebe. Die Akkus haben eine Kapazität von je 4000 mAh, was zusammen für 12-14 Stunden Dauerbetrieb des Lasers reicht. Die Akkus lassen im Lasergerät wie auch extern über USB C Laden. Der Laser besteht komplett aus stabilem Kunststoff, teilweise gummier. Er besticht durch eine gute Verarbeitung und eine kompakte Form. Alles ist sehr ordentlich zusammengefügt, die Spaltmaße gleichmäßig, die Anschlüsse und Bedienelemente sind sauber eingebaut. Die Selbstnivellierung über ein Schwerkraftpendel funktioniert gut, in einem Bereich von bis zu +/- 4° und dauert nur 2-3 Sekunden. Die Bedienung über nur 3 Tasten und den On/Off Schalter ist denkbar einfach. Eine Taste für Vertikale, eine für Horizontale Linien. Angeschaltet lässt sich die Leuchtstärke in 3 Stufen und der "Pulsieren" Modus über die Mitteltaste einstellen. Ausgeschaltet kann mit einem 3 Sekunden langem Druck der manuelle Modus eingestellt werden. Dann ist die Selbstnivellierung ausgeschaltet und der Laser lässt sich in einen beliebigen Winkel stellen. Die Linien vom Laser sind grün, dick genug und Leuchtstark. Sie sind im Gebäude immer gut erkennbar. Mit einer Reichweite von 30m ist der Laser auch für große Räume gut geeignet. Die Genauigkeit ist hoch, eine maximale Abweichung von 1,5,mm auf 7m ist zumindest für mich irrelevant. Für den Preis und bitte für den privaten Hausgebrauch ist das Gerät wirklich top.

This is a nice little 3-axis laser at an affordable price.The set includes everything you need to get up and running. Once you have the head-unit "almost" level, the self-leveling function takes over and you're good to go.Want to set it to an angle? You can lock-out the self leveling function and set the angle manually.My two concerns with this unit are durability and lack of a complete case. They do give you a small "bag" type case for the head which is better than nothing at all - but this still leaves you with the tripod flopping around. A small increase in price and a case that holds (and protects) both tripod and head unit would be a huge plus. As it is, I'll keep it in the box it came in, but I don't expect that to last real long. Time will tell.I'd recommend this to the do-it-yourselfer who's only using it on occasional weekends. That's what it's made for and really does a good job of it.Professionals who will need it for daily use (and probably cause it to receive more abuse) will want to spend their money on something a bit more rugged.

Man, I love this Firecore Laser Level. It's so nice to work with and does exactly what I wanted (finding levels for various projects).As advertised - the kit comes with all you need.- 2 rechargeable batteries. This is great, since my old laser level took AA's and they seemed to be dead or low when I needed them.- A really nice, fully adjustable, lightweight but sturdy tripod. Plus all the stuff you need to mount the actual laser level to the tripod. Keep in mind it's only 60 or so inches. It might need a taller tripod for higher work. Oh, and another magnet style connector for attaching to other methods.- The laser level tool itself - Solid build quality and has accurate vertical and horizontal green lasers that self level, with a 360 degree option to cover 4 walls and a ceiling at one shot.- Green lasers that are nice and bright. Easy to see in all sorts of lighting conditions.- A remote control. Which is actually pretty helpful when marking or measuring.- A nice padded case for the level and batteries.This thing is super helpful for construction and wall hanging projects. It's a real time saver. But really it gives me a lot better way of being accurate when doing work like this.I have nothing negative to say. The level and tripod are both 5 stars in my book. Never having to worry about finding AA's is icing on the cake.
