Great!
For someone who doesn’t stretch as often this has helped me build strength and mobility. Definitely worth buying if you aren’t stretchable. The functionality is worth its comfort.

Effective for Post-Op Knee Therapy
This item didn't come with any sort of manual for use, but there are videos here on Amazon for guidance and it's a relatively intuitive tool. Quite effective in helping me straighten my leg post knee-op and has also helped in providing me with better range of motion since a botched knee surgery almost a year ago. By the way and just an FYI, if you're looking at other similar type models of this stretcher, I have very short legs (29" at 5'0 tall ), but this thing when extended almost covers my entire thigh. Consider that when researching your purchase. No regrets on this ; I recommend. Good vendor.

best device for tight hamstrings with reasonable price
I’ve been battling extremely tight hamstrings that have affected my ankles, knees, and hips for quite a while now. My bad lower back has also made it difficult to stretch my hamstrings and hip/IT band without pain. To top it off, my daily routine of 9000 steps resulted in severe calf pain and overstressed my right foot, leaving me barely able to walk 3000 steps a day. Traditional treatments from orthopedics, physical therapists, and doctors didn’t help much; they just offered temporary relief with medications and injections. In my search for a real solution, I stumbled upon this calf stretching unit online. It’s lightweight yet incredibly sturdy, and the price is very reasonable. The instructions were straightforward. Within a few minutes each day, I began to feel the benefits. The stretch it provided for my IT band and legs was intense—yes, it made me cry at first—but the relief was amazing. I finally found a way to stretch without hurting my back.Using this device, I started seeing continuous improvement. Despite some initial discomfort, it brought significant relief and allowed me to stretch areas that had been neglected due to pain. Whether you’re a super athlete or just need some rehab, don’t hesitate to get this calf stretcher—it’s a game-changer!

Love it!
The media could not be loaded. I have been suffering leg and back pain recently. My therapist suggested to do some home general stretching exercises. This stretcher came in very fast. What I like about :The stretcher itself is very lightweight and quality is solid though it looks bulky. It could used for both legsThe installation is very self explanatory and super easy to put together within last than 1 minute.Different loops for different leg stretch challenges at 3-4 different levels depending how far and flexible you are and want to push yourself. To adjust is also super easy by pressing two side silver parts and pushing down/pulling upThe only thing I wish there are some exercise examples for reference to fully utilize this device.Honestly, this is an amazing product. I am kind of sad I didn't buy it a long time ago. I would recommend it to anyone.

does not work for me at all
Hi, chiropractor and yoga teacher here, this bar didn't help a stretch at all. In fact, it prevented me from stretching! Use a yoga strap or stretchy band over this any day. The bar to push the femur back didn't come anywhere near touching mine. I don't get it at all. Tried a couple times and nothing.

it works if you use it right, but there is potential for getting hurt - not for tall people
This hamstring/calf stretcher work - and work as well as any other method to stretch hamstrings. But I don't find the metal guide of ANY use at all. If anything it potentially can push on your leg above the knee, which can hyperextend you knee and cause harm. This is especially true for tall people, because the length of the metal for 5'5" and above, even at its longest length, will put pressure to bend your knee the wrong way!But does it work? Yes. Is it better than the standard yoga cloth belt with a metal loop to loop around your foot and pull in exactly the same way? No. And the cloth belt with loop is easy to carry. There is some advantage with the metal part - you can use it instead of the cloth to pull your leg. This actually works better, is more stable and easy on your hands than the cloth belt.I can only recommend this if you pull the metal to stretch your hamstring - not the rope. This will automatically prevent the hyperextending of the knee.

Updated: Better than I thought
Update: I am compelled to update this review. After trying it a few times, it sat in my closet for awhile before I happened to refer to it to a physical therapist I was seeing about a problem with my left knee. After describing it to him and showing him the link on Amazon, he was so impressed he said he was going to order one for his clinic. After I got home, I pulled it out and started using it in earnest. After just a few days I was shocked to see that it completely eliminated a chronic pain I had for many years in my right thigh. While it is helping with my left knee, I have to be a lot more careful with that one. But all in all, this is a great device. As far as where to store it because of its size, once you discover how it can help, trust me you will find a place to store it.-------------------------------------Here is what's good: well-constructed, good materials, fits together easily, and very light weight. Here is what's not so good: assembly instructions are worthless (just look at the pictures and you got it); there are no instructions on how to use it; references to websites that do not exist; and for the price you would think what they called the "band" would be better material or perhaps an actual elastic band; and, finally, once put together, it is really bulky and you will probably struggle on where to store it.To figure out how to use it, just look at the pictures on Amazon because you are not going to find anything else anywhere else.Is it worthwhile? While you can accomplish everything with simple elastic bands, this is worthwhile if it motivates you to actually do the stretches. If only, you knew where to store this thing when not in use.
