I bought this to save my time on searching for a word on my cell phone or laptop, while reading an English book. English is my second language, so this scanner really saved me a lot of time. The translation between English, Japanese and Chinese can be done offline on this device.You can also just use the dictionary function, instead of asking it to translate by sentence.The only thing I hope it can improve in the future is that the scanner can be more accurate on the text location. For example, when I plan to scan from the first word of a sentence, it usually starts scanning from the last word in the last sentence. Fortunately, this problem doesn't affect the translation overall.

It was good in the beginning but broker in a month

I bought this for Japanese translation. I tried it on romaji and it didn’t work. Which is weird because it prides itself on being a Japanese translation tool. I figured out it only translated Japanese characters. So, I tried it on a comic book. It had a clear scan but the characters were all messed up. I rebooted it and it still didn’t work. I’m not willing to return and replace only to find out it just doesn’t work. I’m going to return it instead.

I love this Ai Translator! Sturdy and quality made. Most companies want $200 for this same device! This POCHY translator does a great job with listening then translating. Small and lightweight enough to carry in your pocket. We are pleased with this purchase!
