An excellent product in many ways, and I'm very glad I found them.
These Gladwells Pond Pellets 10 kg are an excellent product in many ways, and I'm very glad I found them! The (great) Aquatics shop from which I had previously been buying fish food for 25-30 years has always been pricey, but about 12 months ago it suddenly occurred to me that their prices seemed to have gone through the roof. Obviously you want the best for your fish, which is why I'd carried on buying the shop's food at their steadily increasing prices, but as I've got three ponds it was getting much too painful spending getting on for £200 for flakes and pellets 2 or 3 times every year - their prices had certainly doubled in about 4 or 5 years. I decided to look on Amazon (where else?!) and study the customer reviews for alternative similar products and am so glad I did as these pellets are far easier on the £££ and are clearly of top quality and much loved by the fish. It's the same thing with the flakes (Tetra Pond Flakes - 10 L) I now also buy from Amazon, and for which I shall be leaving a similar review. Incidentally, they both also now arrive post-free at my door in no time at all and save me having to drive a 40-mile round trip to visit the original place to collect the food as I had to before.

Cheap and the Koi, orfe etc all like them. The pellets are a good size for both quite small Koi and big ones. They float, are consumed quickly, and are low waste and do not cloud the water.

Fish seem to like it!
Product and delivery as expected. This is quite a substantial stick in comparison to the food we were previously using for the fish which was so lightweight you didn't feel you were actually feeding them.

One pond of 2 -8 inch goldfish love it, but my other pond of 15 -18 inch fish will not touch it!
I purchased this after reading good reviews and thought I would give it a try. I have fed it to two ponds for several weeks during the warm weather and have found that my pond of small 3 - 8 inch gold fish love the new food and readily eat it all up. However, it is a different matter in my other pond! I have large fish up to approx 18 inches but they will not touch it all. It remains on the top until I scoop it off. I tried not feeding them for a few days to see if they would eat it, but still they would not. Very disappointing as normally they will eat anything floating or sinking. From the cheapest upwards. However, clearly this does not appeal, although I know not why! Off to search for something else for the Spring!
