The Cream Cleansing Gel

This face gel is great for cleaning off my face. The liquid is just the right thickness. The cleanser suds up nicely. I really felt clean. The container is a good size. Very reasonable.

This produce works. I have been using it for 3 weeks now, 2x a day and see noticeable fading. Will continue to use and expect even more results.

Rated 4.5/5Augustine Bader is a great brand, and I love their Cream and Retinol. This cleanser is equally well made, has great ingredients, and works well with my skin.When I apply it to my wet face, it actually feels like a lotion..so much so that I had to do a double check that I grabbed the right bottle. But it is indeed the cleanser that feels so smooth and creamy spreading over the skin.This doesn’t foam up much, but once you wash it off, you can feel that your skin was cleansed. Although my skin doesn’t feel dried out, it feels slightly stripped—or perhaps a better way of putting it is thoroughly cleansed. I was somewhat surprised by this, because I assumed that being “The Cream Cleanser” meant that it would be more hydrating. The description on the website says, “Removes dirt, impurities, and makeup without stripping or drying the skin, for a clear, revitalized complexion”. I definitely agree with the removal of dirt and impurities, and I’ve used it to remove lingering makeup and as a double cleanser after a balm. For all of those things, this works wonderfully. Likewise though, just as it easily removes balms, I find that when I don’t have any on, it slightly strips my skin.I have combination skin, so for the T zone, this cleanser is wonderful, but I’m concerned about the other part of my skin that is dry naturally. Will this overtime lead to more dryness? I don’t know, and I hope not. Thus far, it hasn’t seemed to make it worse. So, that makes me question whether this is really stripping my skin, or if it’s just cleaning it so well, it makes me think it is.In any case, my skin seems to like the product, so I plan to keep using it for now. I will update this review if I find that over time it does dry out my skin or if I have any other issues.

Very nice - gives your face a deep clean but does not strip the moisture from your face .It is a little pricey. Not always but this is a nice buy .

Okay so I was contemplating purchasing this cleanser because of the price tag, however, I’m glad I did. I was already using the riche cream at night and the regular cream during the day. I switched my whole skincare line because the products I was using had some ingredients I no longer wanted to be exposed to (download the Yuka app to check all of your beauty products).I thought I could get away with using a cheaper cleanser but it left my skin feeling dry, even with using the riche cream. I decided to invest in this whole line of products and I’m so glad I did!

This is a review for "The Cream Cleansing Gel"I came to using this cleanser with no prior knowledge of the AB - Augustinus Bader brand. I was kind of a perfect slate, with no prior opinions nor knowledge of any previous product by the company.I found this cleanser to be pretty average in terms of its cleansing ability. It certainly did not clear far superior to any normal drug store brand to warrant its high price. The company claims "Removes dirt, impurities, and makeup without stripping or drying the skin, for a clear, revitalized complexion." I agree with the "Removes dirt, impurities, and makeup without stripping or drying the skin." That is about all it did though and there are significantly less expensive products that do the same thing for me.The texture of the product is a semi-milky or slightly cloudy in appearance cross between a gel and a cream cleanser. It went on the face and spread around with ease. I did not experience any tugging on my skin trying to distribute this product.This product has an odd scent. It is not a scent found in nature. More like a plastic like scent. I don't have a very strong sense of smell anymore, so it is very difficult for me to name what I am smelling. Suffice it to say, I generally assume if I can smell something, then the normal scent must be a lot stronger. I found the scent to be undesirable.✅️ - cleaned as well as other cleansers I have used❌️ - price and scentOne star removed for price compared to end result (which was just an average cleanse).One star removed for off-putting scent.One other thing to note, and I did not remove any stars for this, the brand seems to be noted for "TFC8". There was some writing on the outer/carboard packaging that might have described what TFC8 is, but the font on the packaging was SO small, I gave up trying to read it. There was also an insert inside the packaging, where they could easily have used a larger piece of paper and a larger font to make the literature usable for clients, but surprisingly, the font size was even smaller than on the outer packaging. I gave up. AB company - do yourself a favor and improve the usability of the insert for your customers. It would be a big improvement for minimal cost to the company.
