Easy to Clean, Light weight, gentle on hair… Except a pin broke nine months after use
This is the best brush I've ever used! My last brush had a ball point at the end of the wooden pins, and that one pulled on hair so I don't ever trust using a brush to detangle my hair after a night's sleep and my hair is like a bird's nest. However, this brush detangles my hair so gently, it doesn't pull on my hair unless I am aggressive and in a rush. The rubber that holds the pins felt like leather or something of high quality, smooth, and looks like might last a long time. The brush I had before this already had cracks in the rubber after a few times I cleaned it. With this brush, it's so easy to clean, I just use an old tooth brush to scrub between the pins with a little soap. My hair is greasy and easily leaves grey stuff on the pins and the rubber, what would usually be a nightmare cleaning a brush now becomes so easy, this brush easily sheds it off with my usual way of using a tooth brush and soap. Works great with my short, straight, thick diameter, medium volume hair. The brush is so light yet better quality than my last brush, which is heavier. I like the rectanglular brush, for the main reason that it's easier to clean with a tooth brush---just up and down, left and right, unlike an oval brush, I'd have to clean in a up and down then radial way---from outside to the center. The box, is so neat, it did came with a little cream white cotton bag, no ad cards or anything to entice people to win a free product by doing so and so. Nice and pure from ads. The box opens from the long side of the box, not the width, which is what I'm used to since my last brush is opened by sliding the cover lengthwise, this one is like that of a shoe box. Love the presentation, except the price is too high. It is supposed to be $35, when I finally got around to purchase it, it became $38. Learned about the brush from watching Holistic Habits, finally got around to having one! Love the quality and the care put in to making this brush.Update:Nine months after use, March-December, a pin broke in half during cleaning with a toothbrush. I was very disappointed but can’t really blame it because I do clean my brush very often and I had been a little aggressive that time. I usually wash/scrub my brush 1-2 times a week after each time I had washed my hair to ensure I am using a clean brush with clean hair(also my hair leaves dirty residues, maybe it’s just me or the quality of my shampoo). I still continue to use it, I just pull out what I could of the broken pin, the part of the pin that is under the black rubber couldn’t come out, so it fell in and stayed inside the black rubber part, which I’m fine with as long as no pokey part is on the outside to scratch my scalp. I feel disappointed and expected the brush to last years without damage. But with how I am using it it may be different. The brush feels a little different without that little pin, could also be the placebo effect. But now that I cut my hair short, it feels no different than with or without that pin. Plus it is only a pin on the lower left edge row, not too bad of a spot lose a pin.Hope this helps.

Best brush EVER!
This is an amazing brush. Long lasting, durable, well made, and using natural materials that complement hair chemistry. The wooden bristles on this brush are naturally anti-static, whereas plastic is static-inducing. They also absorb some of the oils on your scalp and transfer it down the shaft. This particular model, because of its rectangular shape, gives the scalp a massage that feels like one of those scalp massagers. Heavenly! And this brings needed blood flow to the scalp, where healthy hair begins.I love this model because it is very travel-friendly so I can bring it along anywhere I go. It works great on long and thick hair. I have tried both the round shape and rectangular shape Tek brushes, and figured out that round brushes are better for curly hair (enhances volume and curl shape by bringing hair to one point) and rectangular is best for straight (it literally brushes your hair into straight lines, leaving the ends separated). This is one of my favorite beauty tools, and I won’t be without a Tek ever again. This brush makes a really nice present also : ) The packaging is very nice and the company is eco-conscious, still hand-making brushes in Italy.

Gentle and Smooth
The craft of this hair brush is genuinely cared for. The soft wood of the brush is nice. I will not lie to you, there were concerns of the amount of bristle the brush's head had and how that would affect my overall experience with the item. The hair brush did not cause only form of discomfort or pain when it detangle the knots in my hair. The nots literally melted away when I used this brush. I have purchased this brush since May 20 and it is now October 19 and it is working like a charm.I have fairly medium thickness of hair so this size of this brush nice, but if you prefer larger brushes then I know that this company does offer brushes for thicker hair types.I hope this review helps! :D

Sturdy and packable
This is the best hair brush I've ever had. It is gentle and does not snag on my hair. All natural wood helps disperse oils throughout the hair leaving it softer. It's perfect for everyday use and is small enough to travel with. I have only had it for 6 months, so I can't speak to its longevity.

Great brush, worth the money
I bought the same brush (but in a gorgeous purple, rather than the "natural" color) more than 10 years ago, at a TJ Maxx/Marshall's store. The ONLY issue I had was, after several years the rubber disk holding the wooden pins separated from the wood handle and eventually just gave out. The handle itself? Still in perfect condition, as were the pins. So I am sad I had to buy a new one, but glad they are still available. It's a very "soothing" brush to use (I have medium length "thick but fine" hair), and it's beautifully made.
