We originally received one of these for free with our first child, never had issues with odour though the refill cassettes are expensive to replace. With our second child, for ease we wanted a second nappy bin and bought just a normal bin. This smelled horrendous after a few months so we have bought a second tommee tippee bin. They are great, we should have just bought a second one of these in the first place. There are ways to refill the cassettes yourself and we also tend to line the bin with a bin bag, as trying to get the long string of nappies into a bigger bag after can be a bit of a hastle.

Given that you can reuse the cassettes and just buy the bag refills, this bin is such great value for money. It’s a clean and minimal design, and the perfect size to have enough capacity for all the nappies we get through but not be intrusive in our nursery. I really like the twist design which keeps the smells in, and also makes it very clean when you go to change the cassette. Would definitely recommend this item for the ease of easy use, quality and convenience of young families with lots of nappies!

We got this nappy bin free with our baby gift list, and it’s been really useful. Great for night changes too since it keeps things tidy. The only downside is that the official refills are quite expensive. To save money, we use other bags to refill it, and that works fine. Overall, a handy and hygienic nappy bin, but be aware refills can get pricey.

A really terrible bin, doesn’t keep the smell in at all. The bags are flimsy and over priced and do nothing but waste plastic by twisting the bins but not keeping the smell locked at all! Everything we’ve bought from the Tommee Tippee brand for our babies has been terrible, not sure why they have such a reputation. They’re overpriced and quite often products that don’t work or are clunky and not designed well at all!
