Ray-Ban Meta Glasses, Wayfarer

Pretty Sweet Gadget
I’ve been using the Meta Ray-Ban smart glasses for a couple weeks now, and I wanted to share my honest thoughts for anyone considering them.First off, the style is classic Ray-Ban—think Wayfarer vibes—which means they don’t scream “tech gadget” and look great whether you’re out and about or just running errands. They’re surprisingly comfortable too; I was worried about the weight or bulk, but after wearing them for a few hours, they felt light and didn’t pinch or slide down. The camera quality is pretty impressive for glasses—12MP photos come out sharp and clear in good lighting, and videos are smooth. Low-light shots aren’t perfect, but honestly, that’s expected from something this small. What I really like is how easy it is to capture moments hands-free, which is perfect when you’re on the go and don’t want to pull out your phone.Audio-wise, the open-ear speakers deliver clear sound for music and calls without blocking out your surroundings, which is great for safety. The microphones pick up my voice well during calls, even in noisy environments. The Meta AI assistant is a neat feature, though it’s still a bit hit-or-miss. Sometimes it understands me perfectly and helps with quick tasks like sending messages or checking the weather, but other times it struggles, especially with complex commands. I expect this will improve with updates.Battery life is decent—about 3 to 4 hours of active use—but the charging case really helps extend that to a full day. I do wish the battery lasted longer without the case, but it’s manageable.Overall, these smart glasses strike a good balance between fashion and function. They’re not perfect, but if you want stylish eyewear that also lets you capture photos, listen to audio, and interact with AI without pulling out your phone, they’re worth considering. Just be ready for some quirks as the technology continues to evolve.

Functional and comfortable
Comfortable and functional and they look great. On the go AI can identify many objects and answer random questions. Music quality is very good. Easy to use out of the box with free app download.

SPECTACULAR
First off, these glasses are SPECTACULAR! Simple setup, rugged frame, they are gorgeous, a tad chunky, a tad overweight, but, then again, in America, who isn’t ! I strongly recommend these glasses. They perform as advertised. The battery life is marginal but vastly improves if you disable the "Hey Meta?" cue. Most of us own smart phones and smart watches so that cue is not needed anyway. Most folks are buying this device simply to take pictures and videos from a POV perspective. This feat can be accomplished with the simple, manual press of a button on the eyeglass frame. If you need to summon an AI to ask questions simply use Siri or the AI of your choice on your smart phone or smart watch. With Hey Meta disabled, you will easily be able to get 8-10 hours of battery life on one full charge. That is, if you are only taking a reasonable amount of photos and short videos. Realistically, I doubt if anyone is taking 500 photos, or 100, 60 to 90 second videos in rapid succession with these glasses. This will surely drain the battery within four hours. In summary, if you only want the battery to last for four hours, leave all the features on and have a blast. If you want the battery to last all day, simply disable the Meta-AI cue and party on!

Break easily and quickly. Rayban does not honor warranty
DO NOT BUY THEM FROM AMAZON, RAY BAN WILL TELL YOU THEY ARE NOT IN WARRANTY AND PARTS ARE NO LONGER AVAILABLE. I loved them, great picture and sound quality. However only 5 months and broken just taking them out the case and the arm broke at the end piece. Now they will no longer turn on at all. I had bose glasses for 5 years and they went through it, and still going strong. I'm so sad because I thought raybans held up better than this. I've tried to reach help or find way to fix them, and get no replies

I didn't know what to expect
First of all I will say I think they cost too much. That said they are made of high-quality materials they look fantastic and they protect from the sun. I used my pair as eyeglasses with transition lenses and I couldn't be happier however, considered this before buying if you plan to use these as headphones for listening to music you will be in for a treat as the speakers are very high-quality and you're still able to hear your surroundings while listening to music making them great bicycling or even those who use a wheelchair can still be aware of their surroundings while listening to soft music That said my head is very big and the speakers do not aim directly in my ears so I need to find some way of that section over my ears so that I can hear the music a little better will benefit from these glasses. Also the firmware has been updated several times recently you are now able to take three minute videos instead of one minute you're also able to take photos Which is the push of a button it also includes an AI assistant that helps you with almost anything you need to ask. For example it uses the cameras built into the frames to tell you what you are looking at simply say, hey Metta what am I looking at and it will tell you what you're looking at it will also translate any foreign language you are looking at into English for example restaurant menus that are written in other languages aside from English I have not used this feature but I am told that this is one of the functions built-in. It will also alert you when a phone call or message comes in it will open and close certain apps for you and play and music very similar to Alexa and Siri. I am hoping they will give us longer battery time in the near future because the battery leaves a lot to be desired for example I only wore them for a few hours listening to soft music and I only had 17% battery power left when I was done I could imagine that would be even lower the video camera or Took Photos. I chose the matte finish instead of the shiny which I regret but everyone tells me it looks great I like the shiny glasses myself comes with a great case that also charges the glasses on the go, the glasses case has a built-in battery so when your glasses are running on low energy you can just pop them back in a case for a quick charge. Don't forget to charge your case itself at night. Other than that I still have lots to learn for example how to clean them I don't want to ruin the mat finish with harsh cleaners such as optical sprays which are made of ammonia and I doubt that would be good for the frames . So I recommend these if you have a normal sized head I would say yes. They come in different sizes I have the largest size and I still have trouble hearing the music. I do recommend them and I am satisfied
