Very nice monitor and 5 Stars.
What do I like about the XG27AQDMG?• Value for Money: For the price, you’re getting a top-tier gaming monitor with insane performance. It’s sleek, well-built, and packed with premium features.• Build Quality: Feels rock solid. The stand is sturdy with little to no wobble, and the overall design is clean and modern. The bezels are super thin, making for an immersive experience, especially in a multi-monitor setup.• Screen Quality: Absolutely stunning. The OLED panel delivers deep blacks, vibrant colors, and outstanding contrast. The 240Hz refresh rate makes everything buttery smooth, whether you’re gaming or just scrolling. The 0.03ms response time eliminates ghosting, making it perfect for fast-paced games. Colors are near-perfect right out of the box—no need for heavy calibration.• Performance: This monitor is a beast. Everything from casual browsing to competitive gaming feels flawless. No motion blur, no screen tearing (thanks to G-Sync & FreeSync compatibility), just pure smoothness.Thermals: Even though it’s OLED, ASUS did a great job with heat management. The monitor stays cool even during long gaming sessions, and there’s no noticeable burn-in thanks to smart screen protection features.

Arguably on par with upgrading your GPU.
First off, the glossy coating makes everything super sharp and beautiful. Content is absolutely stunning to watch on this monitor. Be aware that due to the coating, light glare is very apparent. Any light that hits this monitor will be very apparent.OLED's response time is incredibly smooth. Combined with 240Hz makes playing games incredibly smooth with no ghosting or blur. Along with the contrast due to OLED, this monitor is probably on par with upgrading your GPU.Overall, really premium feeling monitor that completely upgrades playing games, especially at the price point. Monitor is fantastic, with assembly taking minutes.

It's beautiful.
I don't know much about the newer monitors on the market but as someone who used to have a 60hz 1080p monitor, I have been blown away by the smoothness and picture quality of this monitor. Let's just say I won't be changing the monitor any time soon. It may seem a little on the dim side at first, but you can change the brightness, saturation, and contrast to fit your idea of a perfect picture. I stick with the presents that come with the included software (DisplayWidgetCenter). I mainly use FPS preset which will set the monitor to peek brightness, allowing me to examine my environment without losing to the shadows. For everything else I use HDR, which dims the monitor and gives greater contrast to darker images. I have never seen anything so crips outside of my oled iPhone. Overall, a great monitor with easy to use settings, which includes and oled care function. If you have not owned an OLED and are looking, this monitor is a great choice.

Great monitor with a caveat
If you absolutely have to have adaptive sync, this one is not for you. It flickers badly with both AMD and Nvidia cards with Freesync turned on. I prefer it off, and I do not have any flickering. I love the glossy screen, although its not quite as good as my LG based 48" 4K OLED its pretty close. Text kerning/fringing can be an issue, but honestly it isn't any worse looking than my IPS 1440P monitors that have greasy matte coatings, so its six in one hand half dozen in the other.Smoothness and motion clarity along with response time are through the roof, as expected from a 240hz OLED. I have used the 360hz QD-OLED panels and I did not like it at all, it had terrible color banding and the text was awful. The other negative is burn-in, this monitor accumulates very quickly. Just a couple of days of use and you can see the edges of things burnt in, but I just run the pixel refresh and it goes back to normal in 5 minutes. I wish there was a setting to have it run every time you shut the screen off like my other OLED.

Just get it!
Been using this for two days now and everything is great. I have a dual Xeon workstation and gaming PC connected via KVM. After I got everything hooked up I maxed out the refresh rate at 240 Hz. Right off the bat I got really bad flickering, like multiple flickers per second and only happened at 240Hz. Fortunately, the problem was with my DP cable. Even though it was a Dp 1.4 it just couldn't support that high of a signal. Bought a new one. switched it out, and everything is great. Now, if you were like me I hesitated because my monitor is shared for work and play. I didn't know how bad the text would be considering how that is not a strong suit. The text isn't as sharp as my previous monitor but not a big deal at all. As a matter of fact, I am already used to it and don't think about it anymore. The blacks on this thing is absolutely amazing. The colors are so vibrant and rich and gaming looks so much better, even compared to a non OLED 4k monitor. The one thing that I was not too thrilled about is the auto dimming feature. If I switched from my desktop to MS word, you would see some minor dimming. I found out this is part of the built-in screen saving options. Not sure which ones so I turned them all off. I am not overly worried about burn-in. If it happens then I will use my 3-year warranty. By the way, make sure you register the monitor on Asus's site. Now, add this to your cart and check out.
