Allulose, the best sugar substitute I know and use.
Allulose is a very good 0 calorie sweetener. It has far less aftertaste than any other sweetener I've tried, and does a good job as a sugar substitute for caramel sauce and candies. It also works well for baked goods such as cakes, but makes cookies come out kind of soft, not crispy. I depend on it for low carb diets. This one was labled as 'powdered', but was actually 'pearls'. They dissolve easily in liquids, but for frosting I had to grind them in my bullet. I also use it for sweetening the second fermentation stage of my water kefirs. I've never had any stomach issues from using it like always had with erythritol and xylitol. Articles say it does not spike blood sugar since humans don't digest it.

A Game-Changer for Our Kitchen
As a family with a Type 1 diabetic, finding a reliable and delicious sugar alternative has been a constant journey. We've tried countless products, but nothing has quite measured up to allulose. It's truly become our go-to sweetener, and honestly, I don't miss regular sugar at all.The taste is what sets it apart. Unlike other sweeteners that can leave a strange, lingering aftertaste or a chemical-like coolness, allulose has a clean sweetness that tastes remarkably similar to sugar. It bakes and dissolves beautifully, which makes it perfect for everything from our morning coffee to our favorite baking recipes. My son, who has Type 1 diabetes, absolutely loves it. He has a passion for making homemade jelly, a simple joy that felt out of reach for a while due to the high sugar content. With allulose, he can now create his favorite jellies without any worry about blood sugar spikes. It's been so wonderful to watch him enjoy this hobby again.I'm also incredibly grateful for how accessible and affordable allulose has become. Finding a less expensive option on platforms like Amazon has been a huge blessing. It allows us to keep our pantry stocked with a sugar alternative that works for our entire family without a significant financial burden. Allulose has truly made a sweet difference in our lives.

Great Taste, No Sugar Spike, Amazing Price.
I love this Allulose sweetener! It does not spike my blood sugar at all, and the taste is very close to real sugar. On top of that, the price is an absolute bargain compared to others I've tried. Definitely my go-to sweetener now!

Reliable Sugar Substitute
This has become my go-to sugar substitute for baking and sweetening beverages. While it’s not quite as sweet as regular sugar, it’s a dependable alternative that works well in most recipes. I’ve used it in tea and coffee, and it blends beautifully without any odd aftertaste. When baking, it’s important to note that this sweetener doesn’t crisp up like sugar does. That said, it’s fantastic for creating chewy or moist desserts. Cookies, brownies, and cakes turn out wonderfully soft and flavorful. If you’re looking to get that golden, crispy texture, this might not be the best choice, but for anything else, it’s a winner.Overall, I’m really happy with the quality and versatility of this sweetener. It’s a staple in my kitchen for sugar-free baking and everyday sweetening. If you’re looking for a substitute that’s easy to use and tastes great, this is a solid option!

Good sweetener
Works well for sweetening the things I've used it for--so far--though it's not super sweet.

Sweetened with no aftertaste.
This is a powder and can be used in place of regular powdered sugar. It dissolves easily in liquid. And incorporates well in baked goods. I like having the bulk size which allows me to stock my pantry without running out before I get the rest of my ingredients for the recipes.

Not as good as hoped
I was really surprised, this had a significant cooling effect in the mouth even though it’s supposed to be straight allulose and was a lot sweeter than I am used to allulose being (I have made a lot of keto style desserts for myself and other family members over the years and I am used to working with allulose). I usually buy FitLane and switched because of the price difference. I regret it. The ice cream I made today, as I have done many times in the past with allulose, did not freeze and the taste is funny with this brand. It’s not overly bad to me, and I will definitely use it, but other family members can tell the difference and won’t eat the things I make with it. I took a risk with a new product because of price and regretted it. I gave it three stars because it dissolves easily, was inexpensive compared to other brands, and it’s non-gmo. I took stars away for taste and the not-quite-right quality of finished products made with it.

Tastes more like cane sugar than any other sweetener.
I've been buying this for awhile now (third large bag). I love the allulose, but there are a few black specks in the bags, which I pick out when I see them and I don't know what those are! I haven't died yet, though. Allulose tastes more like cane sugar than any other sweetener. I will continue to buy it. If you are concerned about the occasional black speck, maybe try one of the more expensive brands? This one was the cheapest brand
