I had bought a few different touchscreen coffee scales, but each time I went to use them the battery had died because of the touchscreen being super sensitive. As such, I looked for something with a physical on-off button. This has been absolutely perfect, and the size means that I can weigh my extractions easily with a bottomless Portafilter. I love that it comes in a little case for travel (because you need good coffee on the road too!!). Battery life seems amazing - have yet to charge the thing since first charge!! Highly recommended item. Top notch!

Great little scale. Love it however I’ve had two now that fail to charge when plugged in and one that had clearly been returned already. A shame because it’s a lovely little thing and I love everything else about it.

LCD fault on arrival. Now having to go through return process in order to be refunded. You would hope these issues don't make it out through quality control.

I have had this coffee scale with timer for just one week. It is more expensive than the other scales on Amazon. It is nice looking (if that matters to you), compact and seems to be working very well. It is sensitive enough (to about 0.1g) to detect the weight of a single bean of coffee. I have used the expresso mode on the scale to weigh the beans for grinding, then the scale tares automatically the weight of the cup and finally the timer starts when the first drop or two of extracted coffee strikes the cup. The timer stops by itself when the coffee stops dripping. Initially, I wasn't sure if the weight of the portafilter with basket and grounded coffee would exceed the limits of the scale. Fortunately, that was not the case. I have been using it every day and after one week, it seems to be working fine with no issues. Of course, I cannot say much about long term reliability only after one week. But, so far, I am satisfied with it.
