Not bad
Really decent TV overall. Although some comments mention that it doesn’t include BBC iPlayer, this isn’t an issue — it can be easily downloaded onto the TV and works perfectly once installed. The remote is a great feature: it’s backlit (very cool in low light) and rechargeable, so no more replacing batteries. Picture quality is incredible, and in my opinion the sound is also decent. The only downside is that it doesn’t easily integrate with the Philips Hue ecosystem without purchasing an additional Sync Box.

Ambilight is awesome
Fab TV. Great picture. Ambilight is awesome. Connected to SONOS Arc first time. The only drawback I can tell so far, , is that IF the TV is on for a long time (and I mean a long time), it wants to turn off for a while.

Great picture and mostly great features
After researching various 65 inch TVs for far too long I chose this as it had very good reviews on various sites and the OLED.Ex panel by LG was very well rated. Originally I considered a Mini LED but as the usage case wasn’t for a bright room the clarity of OLED made more sense. The picture quality out of the box is good. There are plenty of picture modes and all the main formats are covered including Dolby Vision for gaming, light and dark modes, HDR, etc. You can set a picture per source, use the AI modes to detect the native content type and auto switch to that picture mode. Reflections are handled well. You can get a very bright, colourful picture from this panel. You’ll probably need to adjust the settings and some of the modes are rather aggressive in how they manipulate the image so you’ll need to turn down or off various options. FlatpanelsHD have a good resource for this. Sound for a TV of this type isn’t terrible. Dialogue is clear, there’s almost discernible bass, the speakers try to replicate Atmos effects and the soundstage is reasonably wide but honestly get a soundbar or AVR to get the best out of it. It will pass through all the Dolby you’ll ever need. Google tv is pretty good and certainly a step above WebOS and Tizen. It’s smooth, snappy, well presented. No BBC iplayer which is an odd decision but where it becomes more bizarre is the tuner. A single LMB coupled with no Freeview and the clunkiest interface for sorting channels because it just doesn’t do that feels cheap and poorly thought out. Yes most people probably use Sky or similar but for free to air TV this is a shocking oversight and means you’re plugging in yet another device to do something that should have been done better in the first instance. Pros: Really sharp, well sorted picture Google TV is arguably the nicest interface Really well thought out remote control Ambilight does add a lot to the experience The swivel stand is very sturdy and good Cons: Single LMB connection is cheap No Freeview or channel sorting is irritating 2x HDMI 2.1 could be a deal breaker

Thing to know before buying..
This TV isn’t certificated for BBC iPlayer which is a pain. Philips have also stopped supporting their own Hue light integration unlike my last Ambilight TV which supported all my additional Hue lights! Why!! Picture great though and great to finally have eArc for amazing external surround sound

Excellent picture but annoying feature
Excellent picture quality but annoying having the TV want to refresh the pixels and put the TV on standby for 10 minutes when you are in the middle of watching something. The previous model does the same but no other OLED TVs need to do this and cant switch this off
