Good quality
The camera’s ability to capture 24MP photos and 8K resolution images is impressive. The photos are crisp, with vibrant colors and excellent detail. Shooting 3D photos adds a whole new dimension to my photography, making the images more immersive and lifelike.Video quality is equally remarkable, with 4K resolution at 60FPS providing smooth and clear footage. The stereoscopic capabilities truly shine here, creating depth and a sense of presence that is hard to describe but must be experienced. Watching these videos on VR headsets and AR glasses is a game-changing experience, making it feel like I'm reliving the moments. Setting up the QooCam EGO was straightforward. The intuitive interface and simple controls make it accessible even for those who might not be tech-savvy. I appreciated the quick start guide that helped me get up and running in no time. The integrated viewer is a standout feature, allowing for immediate playback of 3D content without needing to transfer files to another device. This instant feedback is incredibly useful for ensuring that I've captured the shot exactly as I envisioned.

Not quite ready for primetime yet
The battery life is very short and it is difficult to access the battery, but my biggest issue is the UI. The buttons just don't respond well, and switching modes is non-intuitive and without sufficient user feedback. It just feels slow and clunky.Image quality is only OK. The images are definitely 3D, but I don't feel like there is amazing depth to them. I think there were too many compromises to make this for the price they are offering it at. It's a fun "toy" but if you are looking for good quality 3D images and video, this isn't it. I'd gladly pay much more money for something that functions better and had improved image quality. Maybe they will make a product like that down the road.

good value
This camera is worth the price. It takes acceptable video. This camera has field of view (FOV) of ~63 degrees. The video works pretty well on an oculus VR headset. The files need to have filename adjusted to end in “_LR.mp4”Make sure to keep the camera very level for the visual alignment to make sense to the eyes.

excellent, but not perfect VR
I recently used the KanDao QooCam EGO 3D Camera for CAD virtual reality applications, such as building walk-throughs (overlays on blues), and it has been impressive. Priced at around $396, this camera offers a bright image and is easy to use, despite a minor ding on the case. The 3D VR capabilities, including 24MP/8K photos and 4K 60FPS videos, are outstanding. The viewer-integrated design makes it convenient for immediate stereoscopic display. The 2.54-inch screen is clear, and the Wi-Fi connectivity ensures seamless integration with my VR headsets, AR glasses, and projectors. The camera’s ease of use is a significant advantage, making it ideal for detailed virtual reality projects. The bright images enhance the clarity and realism of the virtual walk-throughs, providing an immersive experience.Overall, the KanDao QooCam EGO 3D Camera is a valuable tool for anyone needing high-quality VR imaging for professional applications. An STG Synergies BTN Enterprises Review!

Kinda gimmicky, but still super fun
Dust particles show up too easily with the viewfinder, but it’s still pretty fun to use. Everyone is right on the startup times, you kinda have to know what you’re gonna take pictures of in advance, because if you leave it on waiting for the moment, you’ll kill the battery. If you leave it off until you’re ready, you’ll miss the moment. At this price, this is the only camera that does what it does, so it’s more of a novelty than anything. Still, I’d rather have at least some images in 3d than to not have any at all, so it’s worth it I think. Get the kit that includes the additional battery and charge dock. Also don’t lose your mind trying to open the battery door.
